About this watchman

My name is Phillip and I began this website in 2005 to keep track of news I felt was relevant to Bible prophecy. It has continued to help me recall and share some of the amazing world events that are shaping into what God said would happen in His Word. The purpose of this Bible study website is to watch end-time events and report them and my research of them to those Christians interested. I am a watchman, I give God all the glory. Matthew 24:40-44
Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Matthew 25:10-13
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Ezekiel 33:3-6
If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Statement of Faith:

• There is but One God in three identities, the Father (YAHWEH), Son (Yeshua) and the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh). He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel.
  • Just as three different computer disks can have the exact same information yet be three separate discs, so too do I believe God is One in the three forms above.
• The 66 books of the Bible written by 40 authors over thousands of years is the inerrant Word of God and the foundation of all doctrine, reproof and correction. 2 Timothy 3:13-17 (It is also one of the proofs of God's existence, "I AM")
• All mankind is fallen and so is creation and our works will never justify us before God. Galatians 2:16-21
• The Word of God became flesh through the nation of Israel, Matthew 1 | Revelation 12:1-5, and dwelt on earth living a perfect life according to God's ways. John 1:1-14
• Christ was crucified for our transgressions, Isaiah 53:5, and the covering of our sins is a gift of grace, unmerited favor, from God that is accepted by faith. Romans 3:19-27
• The only way to heaven is through the only way salvation is offered, through acceptance of Yeshua's sacrifice. Matthew 11:27 | 1 John 2:18-25
• Upon accepting and believing in Christ's sacrifice for sins, we should be baptized. Acts 2:36-39 | Acts 10:44-48 | 1 Corinthians 12:13 | Galatians 3:27
• To remain in God's love, we must remain obedient to His Word, following His ways of selfless love for Him and each other. John 14-15
• Our feelings and the desires of our heart are NOT a good foundation upon which to determine Truth. Everything MUST be built from the plum line of the Bible. Jeremiah 17:9,10 | 1 Timothy 4:1,2 | 2 Timothy 4:1-5
• Israel has been blinded, but God is not done with Israel and God's prophetic plan for the end-times is bound up with His prophetic plan for the re-gathering and salvation of Israel.
• The testimony of Yeshua is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10
• Prophecy is not personally interpreted, but rather the Bible interprets itself. 2 Peter 1:19-21
• Yeshua's coming is pre-millennial when He will gather His bride before the sudden destruction of God's wrath. Luke 21:34-36 | 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 | Matthew 24:36-39 | Luke 17:24-31
• A prerequisite to Christ's coming and the day of the Lord is a falling away from the Truth of and adherence to God's Word (apostasy). 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
• God's wrath is coming upon the children of disobedience to God's Word. Ephesians 5:1-8
• I believe we are the generation of the end-times for many reasons.
• It is the joy of every believer to read God's Word and study to show ourselves approved. 2 Timothy 2:15,16 | Acts 17:11 (In other words, don't just take my word for what is on this site, check it out for yourself!)
• I believe unity in the body of Christ can only be found in the common acceptance of God's Word as the sole authority and interpreter of itself. We are to be of one mind and the precepts are given to us in one Word, God's.

About the logo:

In my research, I have come to the conclusion that our catching away to be with the Lord will occur at some unknown day and hour at or before the day of the sixth seal, this is a pre-wrath harpazo position. I believe the sixth seal occurs on the first day of the day of the Lord, a 1,000 year period of time, 2 Peter 3:8-10, which begins with destructive wrath from the Almighty. Isaiah 13:6-13 So the events of the sixth seal figures in quite prominently for both Christians and non-believers because that event will be the turning point in the lives of both.

Revelation 6:12-17
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

For those who have accepted Yeshua as their Savior and invited Him to dwell within them and obeyed His Word, this will be the time when we will be taken to meet Yeshua in the air. These are the bride of Christ and are taken to the marriage of the Lamb in heaven. Revelation 19:7,8

Luke 21:34-36
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Revelation 7:9
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

The agenda of this website and what it is all about, is to offer a warning to those who will listen of the coming times through presentation of God's Word fulfilled 100% to date. Yeshua is coming for His bride, those that love Him. If we love Him, we will obey Him. John 14-15 There is a rebellion from obedience to the Word of God today in the world. I believe this and the unifying of diverse faiths is the apostasia of 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, leaving only the revealing of the antichrist at the abomination of desolation as prerequisites to the day of the Lord and our gathering to Him.

Looking to the future of Watchman Bible Study, I would like to...

• Meet 1-2 times a week for several hours to group discuss current events and trends. This Bible study is only going to hold interest for those who are interested in God's Word and feel the end-times coming on. It is guaranteed to enlighten everyone about God's plan for us. He's promised! Amos 3:7
  • Listen to past meetings via iTunes or here. Also get meeting minutes and notes for past meetings here.
  • This time will be spent mostly educating ourselves with everything from Bible studies to movies about Bible prophecy and end-times related issues.
  • Discussion of current news and Bible prophecy
• Always holding to Acts 17:11. "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."
• Witnessing is what we are called to as disciples for Christ. Mark 16:15-20 | Matthew 28:16-20
• I want a close band of those who love to talk about the Lord and our future in the setting of the watchman. We are here to bring the body of Christ closer and make them more aware of the current situation. Ezekiel 33:1-9
• This is a collaborative effort with different people focusing on diverse things so that all have goals and something to contribute to an elevated understanding for all because the Holy Spirit will guide us wherever we go. If you can't participate but want to help, share your ideas or see what ideas you may be able to help with.
• Prayer will be an integral part and as we pray together and study scriptures, we will learn to pray more and more in accordance with scriptures, and see results as we focus more on His plan and not our own.

Not only was fish a common food of the day, often used and referenced by Yeshua during His ministry, but the letters that make up the Greek word for "fish," ΙΧΘΥΣ, also spell out a message about our Lord.

Iota (Ι) is the first letter of Iesous, Greek for Jesus (Yeshua).
Chi (Χ) is the first letter of Christos, Greek for "anointed".
Theta (Θ) is the first letter of Theou, that means "God's", genitive case of Θεóς "God".
Upsilon (Υ) is the first letter of Huios, Greek for Son.
Sigma (Σ) is the first letter of Soter, Greek for Saviour.

My desire for this website is to share the Truth of God's Word I have learned, building faith in what He said to build up the bride of Christ and give a reason for the hope that is within me.

Rise of Europe

• Fulfilled Prophecy - This is Herb L. Peters website and a Bible prophecy bulletin board to converse with others of the body of Christ. Herb passed away in May of 2007 after over a decade of reporting on events transpiring in the European Union. He will be missed as a valuable asset to the body of Christ, but Constance Cumbey is also watching and has been for some time. The Fulfilled Prophecy website is now being run by Holly (Herb's daughter) and Adam (Holly's husband) and has a great discussion board, please come join us!
   

• Constance Cumbey - With a vast knowledge of the the New Age and a watchful eye on European politics, Constance has worked diligently for years as a watchman on the wall. She brings valuable insight to the spiritual aspect of the rising antichrist kingdom which will lead to future worship of the man of sin and the spiritual influences working to prepare the unsuspecting population, ignorant yet unwilling to trust God's Word over all the other options out there. She is currently a practicing lawyer and has a very sharp mind that remembers much.
   

• Björn (farmer) - Keep up to date with the Alliance of Civilizations and Europe watch here. Björn provides a key ministry in watching the rise of the beast from Europe.
   

• A Time, Times, and Half A Time - A blog space dedicated to monitoring the activities of the United Nations' Alliance of Civilizations (Alliance of Civilisations) Initiative. It is my personal belief that the AoC is the vehicle to be used to conduct the war on the saints and those who keep the commandments of God as foretold by the prophet Daniel.

He also shares his perspective of the 2007-2013 timeframe being the 70th week of Daniel. My take is slightly different, distinguishing between God's 70th week dealing with Israel and the antichrist's 7-year plan dealing with Israel.
