The Feasts and the Years 2014 & 2015

I recently have heard from several places of a local pastor in Bonney Lake, Washington who has discovered a series of solar and lunar eclipses connected to the feasts of Israel in 2014 and 2015. Here are some resources on this information:

Four total blood-red moons back-to-back are rare, the only time it happens on four Biblical holidays is in 2014/2015. The only times last century these occurred together was in 1967/1968 when Jerusalem was recaptured. Hebcal used to determine older Jewish holidays.

The priests were clothed in white raiment. Tying this into the following...

Revelation 16:15
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

The high priest and the captain of the guard were known as "a thief in the night." There were watch posts where the priests had to watch the fire that fell on the altar that God commanded to never go out. If a priest was caught asleep when the captain of the guard came, he would take a torch and light it from the altar and set the priestly garments on fire so that they would run through the temple ripping off their garments and the shame of their nakedness would appear.

"If only the Father knows the day or hour, isn't it futile to watch Bible prophecy?" He makes a good distinction between the watching church and the sleeping church as told in the kingdom parable of the 10 virgins. In other words, watch!

I've been doing some hunting around to see if any other Messianic believers have taken note of the 4 upcoming eclipses that Pastor Mark has outlined for us. A gentleman, Greg Killian, who knows alot about astronomy and the Bible with a vast web site with all kinds of very detailed Biblical studies has recently posted something very interesting on the eclipses and the possible Jubilee year, 2015. The article I am quoting from can be found here. Regarding the Jubilee (Yovel) year, Greg Killian says,

"One of the most interesting Yovel calculations comes from those who combine the opinion of the Rabbanan and Hakham Yehoshua. This novel idea[9] suggests that we count fifty years for the Yovel up until the destruction of the Temple. After the destruction of the Temple we revert to counting forty-nine years with the first year of the next cycle being the Yovel year. By combining Rabannan’s count and R. Yehuda’s count:

we find that the last Yovel (Jubilee) year was 5727 (1967), the year of the 6-Day War.

This was the 48th Yovel year starting from the time of Ezra in 3416.

The Yovel year which is 49 years later is 5776 (2015)

"This novel calculation shows the following Jubilees and their significance:
Yovel Year 46 - 5678 (1917)

Shortly after the beginning of the 46th Yovel, the Balfour Declaration was ratified. Dated November 2, 1917 (17th Marcheshvan 5678), the Balfour Declaration is one of the biggest steps towards gaining international recognition for the Return to eretz Israel."

Yovel Year 47 - 5727(1967)

"The next Yovel year, according to this calculation, was in 5727. In Iyar 5727 (June of 1967), Yerushalayim, Yehuda, Shomron, the Golan, and Gaza came under Jewish control for the first time in centuries, and the move back to these areas, of eretz Israel, began."

Yovel Year 48 - 5776 ( 2015)

"This coming Yovel, and its events, are yet to be seen. Never the less, we can learn what kinds of events to expect. Perhaps the year following would be a fitting time for the Sanhedrin to assume or rather to resume its role in counting of Shmita and Yovel and to assume its role of leadership of Am Israel.

This next Yovel would start the 49th Yovel period. Rather fitting that the Sanhedrin would count the last Yovel before the 50th Yovel, a Yovel of Yovels. Remember that only the Sanhedrin can count and sanctify the Yovel year."

June 7th 1967 Jerusalem was restored to Israel and began to be built up in troublous times! 49 prophetic years x 360 days = 17,640 days. So, let’s count from June 7th 1967 forward, to the day, 17,640 days and see where it takes us! It puts you on Sep 23rd 2015 which is YOM KIPPUR !!!

Regarding the Saros Cycle and the upcoming Eclipses:

Greg Killian explained, as did Pastor Mark, how the Hebrew calendar fits rather nicely into a Saros cycle which are typically slightly longer than 18 years. He said, " Thus we would expect that eclipses six years from now should be nearly identical to the eclipses we (had) eleven years ago." He also said, " .... the eclipses which began in 5755 (1995) are related to the eclipses that will begin in 5774 (2014) .

--- Now does anyone know what happened to Israel in 1995? Was there some kind of "land for peace" deal imposed upon them? What was signed or given away in 1995 ?

The Saros Cycle

These two series of eclipses are separated by slightly more than eighteen years. This period of time is called a Saros cycle. There are roughly 29 lunar and 41 solar eclipses in an 18 year 11 day Saros period. This means that one Saros, of eighteen years+, after an eclipse, the Sun, Earth, and Moon return to approximately the same relative geometry, and a nearly identical eclipse will occur. Thus we would expect that eclipses six years from now should be nearly identical to the eclipses we eleven years ago. This also suggests that there is a connection between these sets of eclipses.

Lunar and solar eclipses are possible only when the Moon is close to one of the nodes of its orbit (i.e. the points where the lunar orbit, which lies on a plane displaced by five degrees from the ecliptic plane, intersects the ecliptic plane, where the Earth orbit lies). Now the sequence of nodes repeats itself every Saros, implying that the Saros typically defines the interval between two successive lunar or solar eclipses in a given point of the Earth.Thus the Saros cycle teaches us that the eclipses which began in 5755 are related to the eclipses that begin in 5774. The Saros cycle connects these two series.

If you watch Pastor Mark's free DVD on the upcoming eclipses and download the video Saros charts he provided which are located here, you will notice that near the conclusion of the video presentation, Pastor Mark states very clearly, he did not check past eclipses. He said he would leave that research to his listeners. He said he only did this research on Saros cycles on the upcoming eclipses in 2014/15. He said that the Saros cycle ( I think # 137) shows a repeating theme of judgment which is going to befall the nations.

He said if you pay attention to the Saros cycles you will see World War 1 and 2 as having occurred during a thematic "march of the months." He said something like the 18/19 year Saros cycles is in sync with the way that the Hebrew calendar is configured. (I do wish he offered a transcript of his teaching. I've listened to it a few times and taken notes but they are incomplete, still.)

I am absolutely amazed that another well known Messianic scholar in this field is confirming Pastor Mark's conclusions. The important thing to keep in mind is to realize that right now Israel is celebrating their 48th Jubilee, using this "combined" Rabbinical count. This fact, of course means, that the very next Jubilee year, seven years from now will be the 49th Jubilee.

To think that Pastor Mark's findings regarding the counting up of 17,640 days from June 7th, 1967 which just so happens to lead into the day of YOM KIPPUR on exactly Sept. 23rd, 2015 is totally amazing.

I am very happy to have found TWO reputable Torah scholars who are in agreement about the upcoming eclipses and the importance of Yom Kippur occurring in 2015 after yet another series of amazing eclipses. See here.

Like others here at fulfilled prophecy, I've been watching the reformation of the Sanhedrin Council. I'll repeat what Greg said, more for emphasis in case others think I am trying to discredit Pastor Mark's presentation on the upcoming eclipses:

"(It's) rather fitting that the Sanhedrin would count the last Yovel before the 50th Yovel, a Yovel of Yovels. Remember that only the Sanhedrin can count and sanctify the Yovel year. Perhaps the year following would be a fitting time for the Sanhedrin to assume or rather resume its role in counting of Shmita and Yovel and to assume its role of leadership of Am Israel."

Considering this auspicious day, I am reminded of this verse:

Zechariah 12:10
And I will pour out on the house of David and O the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me, whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter weeping over a first born son.

In Daniel 9:27, it speaks of a confirmed covenant with many for one week (7 years). As he later points out...

...the covenant with many will be confirmed for a period of one week, and that confirmation of the covenant with many is the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP), which began on Jan 1, 2007. The ENP is the strengthening process, or confirmation if you will, for the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership of 1995... which may possibly be the covenant with many... now THAT is amazing!

More specifically, it was signed September 24, 1995, Erev Rosh Hashanah!

Here are some of my thoughts regarding the information:

I still need to read through the thread as I have time, but I had a thought regarding the scripture of the sixth seal.

Revelation 6:12-17
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
As I was pondering this situation a thought came to me. Now I used to think along these lines that the blood moon would be caused by a lunar eclipse, however... At the sixth seal, the sun becomes black as sackcloth AND the moon becomes as blood. The cause of the blood moon is when a lunar eclipse happens and the light is filtered through the earth's atmosphere.

A solar eclipse requires the moon to be on the other side of the earth between the sun and earth.

So if the sun is darkened at the same time the moon is darkened, but a full moon and a new moon are both about 15 days apart, how could this all happen at one time at the sixth seal heralding the day of the Lord?

I do think there is an alternate explanation that would fulfill both the darkening of the sun and the blood moon resulting from the same kind of celestial clock striking midnight, so to speak. However a third body would be involved such that it would pass between the sun and the earth, darkening the sun, and the moon would be full (or close to it) so that the light would be filtered causing a blood-red moon. In looking into the electrical nature of the solar system, it could also account for earth changes (and solar system-wide changes) we are experiencing and were prophesied to come at the end. There is some controversy surrounding this topic since it can't really be proven, but consider this too as a possibility in your research and let me know... Global Warming and the Day of the Lord. (I find it interesting that there is an unknown aspect to what may be coming as prophecy also states.)

I'm also not discounting what is presented as I still need to look into it, just sharing the thoughts I have had and what I've found. I don't quite agree with the conclusions of the facts presented as representing the end of the 70th week in 2014/15, but I do indeed think that the universe is like a giant celestial clock created by the master clock-maker and our savior Yeshua. The feasts are set to them and they are for signs and time-telling. I just believe what I have learned of Israel's judgment history aligning with the feast of Trumpets in 2005 fits better. If that is accurate, then 2015 will be three years after Yeshua has returned. Perhaps it marks the end of the seven years of burning the weapons...

Ezekiel 39:1-11
Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken. And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years: So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.

What is interesting about this is that seven years before 2015 is 2008! I'm not sure of the significance of the 2014/15 end-point, but following the Magog invasion where God destroys the attackers, Israel no longer profanes His name. If the HIStory, Our Future timeline is correct and my belief regarding the timing of a Magog invasion prior to the rebuilding of the temple (and in fact spurring Israel into a spiritual shift that causes them to rebuild it), then 2008 is the year that it must take place. For this reason, the August 1, 2008 date of the solar eclipse caught my attention.

If the solar eclipse is the judgment of the nations and the weapons used by the Magog invaders are burned for seven years, then July and August of 2008 (more generally this summer) is a time to watch for the destruction of Damascus and the retaliation for it by Russia, Turkey, Iran and Libya from the North, possibly through Lebanon. Now I only come to this conclusion based on the previous studies and the Magog invasion seems the only seven-year period of significance that should be happening in 2008. I'm not sure what the significance of the blood-red moons in 2015 would mark since this is during the millennial reign of Christ. I think the seven-year "70th week of Daniel" began with the breaking of the first seal leading to the times we're currently in. It could be significant that the ending of the burning of weapons into the millennium will mark the elimination of the last signs of man's rule and war, when the final weapons of war will be gone leaving only plowshares.

Isaiah 2:1-4
The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

So how could this come about from our perspective today, May 29, 2008? I believe the Bible says that Israel destroys Damascus. They have threatened Damascus if Hezbollah attacks them, and after Israel destroyed the Syrian reactor, I don't doubt that if Israel truly believed they were in danger they wouldn't hesitate to attack the terrorist center of Damascus. This would trigger the defense agreement that Iran has with Syria and Russia with Iran. Fear of Iranian nuclear capabilities, especially considering the recent news of designs for nuclear missiles in Iran, could also play a big part in Israel's actions. Russia has been supplying Libya as well and given Turkey's shunning in the EU, perhaps they would go with their Muslim brothers to join the fight. With Russian troops amassing on the Georgia border, perhaps the forces are building subtly even now? I'm not calling it, but the alliances are certainly coming together I think.

As we know, Israel burns the weapons from this time for seven years, which would end in 2015. According to the HIStory, Our Future timeline, this is three years into the millennium, but perhaps the heavenly signs mark the end of the final vestiges of the previous wars until the millennium is over. I still need to do some more research, but it is quite compelling how these signs in the heavens are associated with such years through history. In my own studies, 1948 and 1967 were very significant without these signs following them, the signs make those times all the more interesting!

I just now also noticed that there is a full moon the day after Purim, 2009 - which could be significant given the HIStory, Our Future timeline. It is "immediately after the tribulation of those days," the time of Jacob's trouble, that the signs of the sixth seal occur. A full moon will be necessary for it to turn to a blood-red color. If the conclusions of just what causes the sixth seal are accurate, then at a full moon, the light will be filtered to a deep red as the sun is obscured and the stars roll up as a scroll, blinking out one by one.
