This page is my estimation of future events based on Bible prophecy, news, and stories I’ve come across. I’ve tried to place them in the order I currently see them as possibly happening in. It is the culmination of my current understanding of Bible prophecy in perspective with real-world news. This is not any prophecy of my own, but a compilation from scripture and news mostly. It is in Bible prophecy though and that’s God’s Word, I’m just connecting the dots. With the diligent watching of believers all over the globe, information is easily shared and the body of Christ can work together regardless of separation by space and time. Daniel 9:27, the Covenant with Many, & the First Seal

If you have not read the Daniel’s 70 Weeks Bible study or the Fourth Kingdom Bible Study, you won’t have the background needed to see the significance of some of this. If you have read it you will understand. This section is not at all detailed, so please click the links to find more detail. Daniel 9:27
And he [beast] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The First Seal

What will be the result of this covenant with many? I believe that the Western powers, eventually headed by the antichrist, will appear to sincerely desire and bring peace to the Middle East. It will be a false peace that simply holds off the inevitable attacks against Israel. However, from now until the Damascus and Gog/Magog incidents, I expect peace to come to the Middle East. I believe that in order for it to happen however, Israel will be divided. The world won’t have a problem with this and I believe the European leader will get the credit for much of it if not all and this will increase his popularity. Daniel 8:24 covers Antiochus IV in history. However, it shows how the spirit of antichrist works.

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. Genesis 9:13

Covenant: alliance, pledge, [treaty, alliance, league (man to man)], [constitution, ordinance (monarch to subjects)], [agreement, pledge (man to man)]

As of now the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) is looking like the confirmed covenant with many. It is a covenant with many nations in the interest of peace and security for seven years confirmed from a 1995 covenant. This offers money from Europe to those who obey the rules dictated to them in order to participate. The ultimate goal is to bring peace to the Middle East. As I will get to a little further down, I believe that peace will involved dividing the land of Israel to create a Palestinian State.

I believe this is also the coming war on religious fundamentalism through the Alliance of Civilizations. While spouting the reason being peace and security in the world, the leaders (and specifically the antichrist) will wage a war on fundamentalism in the name of peace. Those who claim sole ownership of the truth will be labeled as intolerant and persecuted for it. In this way he will destroy the fundamentalists and also corrupt his followers. Everyone will be behind him because they will buy into the concept. You can already see the negative labeling of Christians today in the media and elsewhere. For us here in America, I don’t believe the serious persecution will really start until after the abomination of desolation when the war really turns ugly. That’s when the gloves come off and Lucifer gives his power to the beast. Revelation 13:5 However, there are Christians all over the world and especially in Muslim nations that are being murdered for their faith in Christ daily. So please keep them in your prayers. Peace and Safety!

So I believe that the peace put forth by the antichrist starts out logical because of radical Islam and it’s mutual threat to the European Union, which I believe is the antichrist’s kingdom. Since Islam views the Christian antichrist as an enemy of Islam as well, we can see how the antichrist may fight against radical Islam, going forth to conquer. Daniel 9:26 states that the people of the future prince destroy Jerusalem, they were the Roman army. I believe the E.U. is that revived Roman Empire for many reasons you can read here. I believe more than Islam is going to be attacked and conquered. If you examine the Treaty of Lisbon and the Alliance of Civilizations, you can see that the war will turn on all fundamentalist believers. The world is saying peace and safety and the chaos in their eyes is from the religious structures of the Torah, Bible and the Koran. But politics will appear to rescue the situation until Michael stands up.

What this shows is a move suddenly by the West, Israel, and even many Islamic nations to bring peace. Jerusalem is a troublesome stone upon which everyone is stumbling, just as the Bible said it would be.

Zechariah 12:2,3
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

A peace deal is brokered through diplomacy by a man who makes happen what everyone thought never would, peace in Jerusalem and the Middle East. The Jews will look up to him as well as the world because of the apparent peace he brings. He is the beast, or antichrist. There is already a seven year deal in progress, the European Neighborhood & Partnership Instrument (ENPI), which began January 1, 2007. It is centered around “Mr. Europe,” the peacemaker Javier Solana. Read Recommendation 666 free.

While peace and security will be the talking points of all the news media as they glorify this leader (eventually to the point of worship after the abomination of desolation), the truth of the matter is much darker. This “peace” deal is merely the Islamo-facists biding their time and waiting for the right moment.

For a time, things will seem to be fine. There may be an appearance of the Islamic 12th Mahdi, who I believe may act as the false prophet who builds up this great diplomat with great signs and wonders. Perhaps that is how Islam is brought to worship the antichrist, through their messiah, the 12th Mahdi.

Dividing Israel

Zechariah 14:1-3
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Solana claims credit for “Roadmap to Peace” Unsealed Prophecy (November 15, 2007) - During yesterday’s press conference, Javier Solana stated that he believed the Roadmap to Peace would be accepted by both sides, and based this claim on his working knowledge of the document, having actually written part of the document himself.

The association of this passage with the dividing of the land of Israel for peace was brought to my attention by Rabbi Eddie Chumney in his DVD through the Prophecy Club, Hebraic Bible Prophecy. Because of the possibility of Israel giving land to the Palestinians and because I think I know how that will embolden them, I believe there may be something to this, although I’m still watching and waiting. There’s just something about November 27... and now with the Treaty of Lisbon, things are really starting to come together as the coming war on the saints is ironed out in the legal code and through the Alliance of Civilizations, who target those who claim sole ownership to the Truth as the object of scorn.

The problem with dividing Israel is that there are consequences for doing so. God doesn’t want it, although He is allowing it and foretold it. The question is do we want to be a part of the consequences for what we know will happen that God will punish?

The question is, are we as Americans any different from “the people of the earth” in scripture? Apparently not, but where does the evidence lead?

The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.

As pointed out in Bill Koenig’s book Eye To Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel, we can see evidence in the past of the “whirlwind(s) of the Lord” hitting U.S. coastlines on the very days America meddled in the Middle East peace process of dividing Israel.

  • October 19, 1991, George Bush and Michele Gorbuchoff went to Switzerland and sponsored the Madrid Conference, in order to bring about a peace plan between the Palestinians and Israel. The plan was to divide Israel into two separate states. This land included the Golan Heights, the West Bank, the Gaza strip, and Jerusalem. At that same time a storm developed in the North Atlantic ocean sending 30 foot waves on the coast of president Bush’s home.
  • August 24, 1992 the Madrid Conference convened in Washington and is the day that Hurricane Andrew clobbered the states of Louisiana and Florida. This was a devastating storm that caused massive destruction to the East coast of America. This hurricane was happening at the same time Israel was being discussed in Washington.
  • January 15, 1994 President Clinton, and the president of Syria were in Switzerland, calling on Israel to leave the Golan Heights and within 24 hours a major earthquake hit Northridge, California producing the largest earthquake in U.S. history, and at that time, the second largest catastrophe in U.S. history.
  • August 24th, 2005 The final Jews were evicted from Gaza and Northern Samaria, tropical storm depression 12 started in the Bahamas, Within 24 hours it was tropical storm Katrina. Within 72 hours it was hurricane Katrina and hit South West Florida. 72 hours later, it hit Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, producing the largest disaster in U.S. History.

It is the world’s view of how to bring peace and Satan’s way to break Israel into pieces. Did we learn anything from the above? Most people never had the dots connected for them, perhaps you see it now? Current policy with Israel in agreement with Europe is not where our country should be dabbling.

America on the Brink

Israel isn’t the only focus of division by the mystery of iniquity. This is an audio clip, coming soon, of Glen Beck’s October 15, 2007 radio program where he puts together a reality check on America and where we stand and where we could be going. This is related to the consolidation of power for the New World Order that will eventually be controlled by future the man of sin in Europe. This must happen either by our choice or chaos that will take peace and security so that we give up freedoms in the name of peace.

He also goes into the spiritual depravity of America, who are self-centered. This “every man for himself” and “lookout for number 1” mentality destroys love because true love is selfless. The greatest love that can be shown is to give ones life for a friend. John 15:13 That is completely selfless, and so is True Love. God is love and in His creation of us, He gave us the gift of existence. He also sent His only begotten son, Yeshua, who willingly gave His life to pay the debt of death for our sins. That is the ultimate expression of Love and brings us to friendship with Christ. John 15:14-23

America is dividing, and according to Christ, a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. Matthew 12:25 We must stand for Truth, but Bible prophecy tells the truth about the future and the only peace is found in Christ. The Bible says the world will break into chaos in the end, however the ultimate end is Christ’s rule on the earth for 1,000 years. First there must be a shaking of the heavens and the earth, the day of the Lord.

  • Euro Could Replace U.S. Dollar As Favored Reserve Currency Associated Press (September 17, 2007) - Former U.S. Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan said it is possible that the euro could replace the U.S. dollar as the reserve currency of choice. According to an advance copy of an interview to be published in Thursday’s edition of the German magazine Stern, Greenspan said that the dollar is still slightly ahead in its use as a reserve currency, but added that “it doesn’t have all that much of an advantage” anymore. The euro has been soaring against the U.S. currency in recent weeks, hitting all-time high of $1.3927 last week as the dollar has fallen on turbulent market conditions stemming from the ongoing U.S. subprime crisis. The Fed meets this week and is expected to lower its benchmark interest rate from the current 5.25 percent. Greenspan said that at the end of 2006, some 25 percent of all currency reserves held by central banks were held in euros, compared to 66 percent for the U.S. dollar. In terms of being used as a payment for cross-border transactions, the euro is trailing the dollar only slightly with 39 percent to 43 percent. Greenspan said the European Central Bank has become “a serious factor in the global economy.” He said the increased usage of the euro as a reserve currency has led to a lowering of interest rates in the euro zone, which has “without any doubt contributed to the current economic growth.”

Return of Political & Spiritual Power to Babylon?

May 1, 2007: I’m not so sure of the timing, but the US is wrapped up in Iraq and the world is set against us. Europe has a less negative association in the Middle East. With the U.S. Democrats pushing for pullout and the President pushing to remain, I believe we’re seeing the mystery of iniquity at work controlling governments like pawns in the global chess-board. I believe it is the plan of the New World Order to set up the EU/UN as the global power power. The problem has always been getting independent nations to cede their power to foreign leadership. Part of the process has slowly been happening behind the scenes, but the powers in control must manipulate the masses toward that end as well.

With America, I believe we are seeing that happen right now with Iraq. We have the push to spread democracy in the Middle East and loosen Islamic control from Babylon while replacing it with the Western powers of government that may shift to Europe. The Islamic jihadists are the pawns by creating the havoc that would cause the nation to divide itself and weaken its resolve. That’s written into some sects belief that chaos precedes their messiah. If what the author below puts forth as an idea catches hold, and I believe it will, the US would have it’s back-door while having unseated the power that was in Babylon to replace it with European control. I think this would raise the desire to become more global once peace came about because of it. Especially if that peace had a face and a voice. If the same dark power is behind all these nations and actions as I think it may be, he can quiet or flare up any piece he wants. The Bible narrows it down for us and gives us our labels of what will happen.

I’ve been watching Secret Mysteries of America’s Beginnings and it has brought to light much that confirms subtle Luciferian control over world politics. Genesis 3:1 Sound crazy? Truth is stranger than fiction and much more mind-blowing. Don’t deny it off-hand without checking the research though. Proverbs 18:13 It will challenge everything you thought you knew and remove the veil of brainwashing that has been put over the eyes of humanity. It’s been subtly going on for millennia and the fingerprints of antichrist are all over world politics.

Looking at Bible prophecy, we know that there is an antichrist that will rise to power out of the nation that destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD, Rome. Daniel 9:26-27 I believe this is currently playing out in the news through the European Union’s Euro-Med agreement. Notice how it looks when you see all the letters capitalized. E.U. “ROMED”

Coincidence? Or is he just that bold? There is a dark spirit at work behind what we see with our natural eyes. We fight not against flesh and blood. They are just his pawns because they obey his voice. He is controlling the masses in the Middle East through the ideas of a holy book. In the west it is, “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law,” and so the love of many grows cold. So they fulfill their selfish desires of the flesh because that is all they see and all they’ve been taught to believe in. Let’s reach out to them with truth, love and understanding. Want Middle East Stability? Move UN to Iraq (April 9, 2007) - “Get the U.S. out of the U.N.!,” a sign near Gettysburg shouts. “The United Nations sabotages America’s security,” author Eric Shawn declared in his book The U.N. Exposed. Iranian spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham told reporters that the U.N. “must be relocated from the U.S.” And a few days after Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez’s rant before a U.N. audience, a New York Daily News editorial encouraged Chavez to “take the atrophied, self-abasing remains of a global idea 2,100 miles to Caracas!” The idea of moving U.N. headquarters seems to resonate with many—those who believe that the U.S. is being manipulated by anti-American and anti-Israeli elements within the U.N., as well as those who feel that the U.S. is doing the manipulation. For Americans, it would of course mean the loss of a global status symbol—but it would also mean the reacquisition of valuable New York real estate, fewer cases of diplomatic immunity for the legal systems, and perhaps a reduction of anti-American sentiment worldwide. Where should it go? Try Iraq. While moving the U.N. headquarters to Venezuela or Iran is probably not wise, moving it to Iraq might be a strategic coup. There is even a ready-made location for it—Saddam Hussein’s 600-room palace and compound constructed over the remains of the ancient city of Babylon. Americans might even consider footing the bill for the relocation. Think about it. If the U.S. should be forced to abruptly withdraw from Iraq, a peacekeeping force—something similar to the International Security Assistance Force now in Afghanistan—would probably be deployed. Yet peacekeeping forces under temporary mandates, with all the associated communications problems, functional restrictions, and managerial arguments that so often spring from ego or nationalist pride, generally don’t work. They would be even less viable in a region like Iraq, where the threat of kidnapping and indescribable torture would keep many countries from participating. Relocating U.N. headquarters to Iraq, however, might actually be a reasonable alternative. Former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan agreed with member states’ demands for the U.S. to leave Iraq. Yet he admitted that any force reductions would have to be planned so as not to lead to greater violence and instability. Moving the U.N. to Iraq might be the only method of ensuring that a departure of U.S. forces would not leave the country and the region in chaos. Considering the severe cutbacks in U.N. personnel within Iraq following the 2004 truck bombing of its Baghdad compound, the idea might seem ridiculous; but the mission of the U.N. is to promote and preserve peace. In order to maintain its fledgling democracy, Iraq needs international commitment, an inducement to stop factional violence, and a stable form of income not subject to the terrorists’ reprisals. It is hard to imagine a more visible and binding form of commitment than a change of such magnitude. The prestige factor alone might guarantee stability. Middle East leaders may seize upon the move as recognition of the region’s importance, thus stimulating their sense of self- and nationalist esteem while gaining further incentive for dealing with internecine conflict. more...

Destruction of Damascus (Second Seal Broken?)

The Bible talks about Damascus becoming a ruinous heap. Damascus is the longest continually inhabited city in the world. It has not been fulfilled yet, but I believe it is coming very soon for the reasons you will soon see.

Isaiah 17:1-14
The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts. And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim. Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel. At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel. And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images. In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation. Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips: In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow. Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! [Gog/Magog?]--> The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. [Ezekiel 38,39 - Gog/Magog?] And behold at evening tide trouble; and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

This talks about Jacob (Israel) being made thin. I believe this accurately describes the state of Israel now. They are being made thinner and thinner through the constant problems with the Muslims and indeed the rest of the world against them as well as the dividing of the land. It also says that their [Israel’s enemies] cities will be forsaken, left because of the children of Israel. Does this mean Israel will attack Syria, forcing them to leave their cities because of the attack? Israel has already threatened to attack Damascus and it houses some of the top terrorists trying to destroy Israel. If that’s the case, then Iran will come to Syria’s rescue only to be destroyed in the mountains of Israel with the rest of the Gog/Magog armies? (“hooks in the jaws” from Ezekiel 38,39?) That’s what the last part of the passage would seem to say. Nations rush like many waters, God rebukes them, and they are blown as the chaff of the mountains before the wind. The mountains are the place where Ezekiel 38,39 says God wipes out the Gog/Magog armies. This next verse would seem to also suggest that Israel is the nation God uses to destroy Damascus.

Isaiah 10:5-22
O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few. For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings? Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus? As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols? Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man: And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped. Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood. [God uses Israel to destroy Syria/Damascus] Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire. And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his [Assyrian’s] thorns and his briers in one day; And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth. And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them. [Gog/Magog] And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

So does God use Israel to destroy Damascus, bringing Iran, Turkey, and Russia against her? Notice also that God makes Israel a fire that burns and devours the thorns and briers of the Assyrians in one day. Could this be reference to Damascus’s destruction through nuclear means? It continues on after that to say that the house of Jacob will stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. This is exactly what Ezekiel 38,39 says will happen after God destroys the Gog/Magog invaders in the mountains of Israel.

Jeremiah 49:23-27
Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet. Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts. And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.

From Amos 1, it would appear that the timing of the destruction of Damascus and that of Gaza, Palestine (Philistine), Tyrus, Bozrah, Rabbah, and the coast are all the same time. Perhaps along with the Gog/Magog invasion as well? We know that God destroys the armies in the mountains of Israel with fire and brimstone from heaven. Perhaps at that same time, the fire and brimstone falls on the following places as well. Could this be a celestial event such that the earth will pass through debris in space that would fall at exactly the right time to destroy the armies when they’re attacking at that particular time? That would certainly take supernatural planning, yes? Our God is great! An interesting video by Bill Schnoebelen on scalar weaponry. The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron: But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad. I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom: But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof: And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant: But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever: But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border: But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind: And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the LORD.

Next is another chapter of scripture that points to Syria’s destruction at the hand of God. The places listed below that are destroyed are the same as in Amos 1. If God is the one that kindled the fire in Israel to destroy Damascus, then God would be using Israel as an instrument in bringing about His plans. This would fit with the idea that we are in the 70th week of Daniel, and God is using Israel once again as a sign among the nations of earth.

Zephaniah 2
Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’s anger come upon you. Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger. [Day of the LORD] For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity. I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border. Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them. This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts. The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen. Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword. And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness. And flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the upper lintels of it; their voice shall sing in the windows; desolation shall be in the thresholds; for he shall uncover the cedar work. This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.

Is this perhaps why Israel pulled out of Gaza?

Is Israel God’s instrument in the Damascus destruction?

Is the sudden destruction of Syria at Israel’s hand? If the Gog/Magog invasion coincides with Amos 1, then I don’t believe so. If it does, then I believe God will destroy Damascus and all the cities listed there possibly with fire and brimstone (meteorites?) from heaven (space). However, there is reason to keep an eye on the situation in the Middle East because Israel certainly has a reason to attack Damascus and have threatened to already. Scripture says it’s because of Israel that they leave their cities, is that Damascus?

The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. Gog/Magog Attack Against Israel

“I have heard this question nearly every day recently. It is the subject of countless newspaper articles, and everyone in Israel is talking about the changing face of the Middle East. I have also heard the phrase “Gog and Magog” repeatedly used in connection with the shaking Middle East. It isn’t unusual to hear Christians talking about future events and Bible prophecy, but it is much more unlikely in the Jewish world. So, I have been surprised recently to hear many Jewish people referring to the present time as times leading to Gog and Magog.

I asked Danny, a former officer in the Israel Defense Forces, not normally given to talking about religious subjects, what he thought about the chaos in Egypt and other Middle Eastern nations. His answer surprised me! He said, “God is pushing us to Gog and Magog, and then the Messianic age will come.” Rabbis are referring to the prophecies in Ezekiel about the battle of Gog and Magog, which will precede the coming of Messiah. The Orthodox Rebbitzin (wife of a rabbi) Jungreis has said that this time is the birth pangs of the coming of Messiah. She compared this time to the birth process, saying that every mother knows that as the time of the baby’s birth nears, the pains come faster and harder until the mother isn’t sure she can stand it, and then the baby comes, and everyone rejoices.

Uncertainty surrounds us, with rioting around the region toppling leaders, Iran sending warships into the Mediterranean Sea via the Suez Canal, financial woes rocking the world, basic commodities’ prices soaring, Russia re-arming herself in an unprecedented manner, and natural disasters striking in locales around the world. This event is when Gog/Magog forces (Russia, Iran, Turkey, Libya and other Islamic nations) attack Israel in a bid to fulfill their desires and “wipe Israel off the map.” I believe it is the next prophetic event to take place after the destruction of Damascus. How we get to this point from now (May 01, 2013) I believe that the Gog/Magog invasion will take place before the abomination of desolation. More on why here. I will present quickly here the couple of possibilities I see on how it comes about...

  1. This could be the result of Israel wiping out Damascus, Syria. Iran now has a defense deal with Syria and are bound to defend her in case of attack. If Israel catches wind of something in Syria and they put a stop to it, that could bring Iran along with their clear partners Russia, Turkey, and other Muslim nations against Israel. There’s also this Report: Israel threatened to target Syria if Hezbollah attacks. Just look at some of the few news stories below I picked out and you can see how close we could be to that. Certainly Israel’s attacking of their Muslim brothers mixed with their hatred of the Jews could be the “hooks in the jaws” that God brings them to the mountains of Israel with. (Isaiah 17:1-14 | Zephaniah 2) With this perspective, it’s just a matter of timing. And with the typical modus operandi of the enemy, they just have to keep telling lies over and over until everyone believes them. Then they can feel justified in retaliating against Israel after provoking the self-defense attack through military buildup and threats.

    Peace is currently being brokered through the EU between Israel and the Palestinians and surrounding Muslim aggressors, the European Neighborhood Policy. The Bible says that Israel will be dwelling safely when the Gog/Magog attack takes place. Ezekiel 38:8 While they technically aren’t at risk of losing their nation currently they also aren’t all living safely as rockets are still being fired into Israel. For this reason, it may be after the peace deal that the alliance of Gog and Magog attack.

    More from 1whowaits: “While it appears that the destruction of Damascus precedes Gog-Magog and may be a lead in to it, there may be something else that precedes the destruction of Damascus that is suggested in Isa 17- ‘The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim and the royal power from Damascus....in that day the glory of Jacob will fade; the fat of his body will waste away...’

    It would appear that at the time of the destruction of Damascus a city in Israel is destroyed, it ‘disappears’. The city is located in Ephraim, and while Ephraim is a tribe of Israel it is also a term used to refer to the northern kingdom of Israel in general, located in the northern section of the land of Israel. At this time the largest city in the northern part of Israel is Tel Aviv, and this is where most of the missiles of Syria and Lebanon and Iran are pointed. Most of the missiles possessed by Syria and Hezbollah and Hamas are short range and cannot reach deep into Israel, so Tel Aviv is the largest city within reach of these missiles. Iran has some medium range missiles, but it is not clear how accurate they are, and if they were fired at Jerusalem, they could destroy Muslim holy sites and kill Muslims civilians.

    Tel Aviv could meet the description of a ‘fortified’ city, it has in its suburbs the ancient city of Joppa, which has been called a fortified city. The name Tel Aviv, or Tel Abib, means ‘hill of grain’, and it is interesting that Isa 17 describes the gathering of grain after describing the ‘disappearance’ of the city from Israel.

    Also Isa 17 appears to suggest some destruction in Israel at the time of the destruction of Damascus. Isa 17 states that the ‘glory of Jacob will fade’ and the ‘fat’ or mass of his body will ‘waste away’, perhaps suggesting that there will be loss of life in Israel.

    If a city in Israel ‘disappears’ it is most likely that a nuclear weapon is used as it is unlikely any conventional weapon could make a city ‘disappear’. If a nuclear weapon were used on a city in Israel, a likely response would be a nuclear attack on the city of the attacker, which is consistent with the destruction of Damascus, which is made a ‘heap of ruins.’

    That a nuclear attack may be the mode of destruction of Damascus is suggested in Isa 17- ‘the cities of Aroer will be deserted and left ot the flocks, which will lie down with none to make them afraid...in that day their strong cities, which they left because of the Israelites, will be like places abandoned to thickets and undergrowth. And all will be desolation.’

    The cities of Aroer are to the southeast of Damascus, in Jordan, and there is no mention of them being attacked and yet they are described as being deserted with the livestock remaining. This could be consistent with the abandonment of cities due to nuclear fallout, the people would leave in a hurry and their goods and livestock would remain, the cities would be uninhabited by people for a period of time. And certainly all being desolation would be an accurate description of a nuclear exchange.

    Also the book of Joel appears to describe an attack on Israel prior to Gog-Magog. Joel 2 describes an attack on Israel by a northern army that God defeats, and then God pours out His Spirit on Israel, which is consistent with the description of Gog-Magog in Ezekiel.

    Prior to that Joel 1 describes an attack on Israel- ‘a nation has invaded my land, powerful and without number...’. In this attack the crops and trees are destroyed, buildings are in ruins, and open fields and pastures are set on fire. This could be consistent with a missile attack on Israel and in fact some of this did happen in the Lebanon war 2 years ago.

    The missiles fired against Israel are largely unguided so they are not accurately aimed and they can land anywhere. In the previous missile war the missiles exploded in fields and forests setting them on fire and endangering livestock. Since that time the enemies of Israel have built up their missile stockpiles to a much greater level which if launched would likely cause the type of destruction described in Joel 1.

    It would appear that Israel is attacked prior to Gog-Magog and that attack may result in the destruction of Damascus. The type of destruction described for Damascus and the fortified city of Ephraim would be consistent with the use of nuclear weapons and their resulting devastation.

    And it appears that the attack described in Joel 1 may have some association with the month of AV, the month of mourning and destruction. Whether Israel will attack Iran first or Iran, Syria and Lebanon will attack Israel first is not mentioned in scripture. But it would appear that there will be a future, devastating attack in Israel that will result in the destruction of Damascus and likely culminate in the battle of Gog-Magog.”
  2. Israel will realize that if anyone is going to wipe out Iran’s nukes, it will have to be them. They will and Iran & company will retaliate. (November 11, 2006) I’m less inclined to think the Iran nuke situation will remain a priority. I think Gog/Magog will happen before this becomes a big problem. Of course I’ve been wrong before, so I’m covering all the perspectives I’ve found/thought of. I just think there is a more closely linked connection between the destruction of Damascus in Isaiah 17 and the Gog/Magog invasion and they [Syrians] leave their cities “because of the children of Israel.”

There is some background also needed. What times do we know that there will be peace in the Middle East? We know that the temple has to be rebuilt before the abomination of desolation. Revelation 11:1-2 So somehow the current situation has to change. That’s where I believe Gog/Magog comes in.

Ezekiel 38:8-12
After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

Clearly, Israel is living in peace and safety before the attack. If you read my study on Ezekiel 38,39, I go into why, but this time only fits before the abomination of desolation. Afterwards, Israel will not live in safety until Christ returns in glory. Another interesting thing that the Gog/Magog intervention does is makes Israel and the world recognize the God of Israel. I believe that will be what pushes Israel to rebuild the temple. And the Muslim forces that hate Israel will have just suffered a clear defeat by a much stronger God than them.

“Hook in the jaw” for the Gog/Magog armies?

Ezekiel 38:4
And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

Now imagine that Israel attacks Damascus as gone over above. Since there is a defense agreement between Iran and Syria, Iran would have to get involved. As it stands, Israel has already threatened action against Damascus, and Bible prophecy speaks of people forsaking the cities because of the children of Israel.

Here is some additional thoughts from Loetz at ProphecyNewsWatch (December 20, 2006) - “I believe the imminent rejection of Turkey into the European union preceded by the Country of Georgia being forced back into the Russian orbit - leads the path to Gog Magog. This will then allow direct land access of the Russian army into the Middle East. Russia will soon use this access in order to force Israel to conform to the upcoming UN resolution to open their nuclear weapons arsenals to UN inspection. Israel refuses - the army gathers. All of Iran’s bluster is really for this purpose and this purpose alone. They are not crazy - they are following a plan to disarm Israel - in order that she may be annihilated. The U.S. will disagree of course - but the world body will think that disarmament is the only way to peace in the middle east. Israel will stand alone - we will be legally helpless to stop her enemies. You will be hearing these words every day on the TV as momentum gains for this upcoming resolution. It has already begun. On Tuesday, Dec 19, Iran demanded that the UN Security Council condemn what it said was Israel ‘s clandestine development of nuclear weapons and “compel” it to place all its nuclear facilities under UN inspection. If Israel refuses to comply, Iran said the council must take “resolute action” under Chapter 7 of the UN Charter which authorizes a range of measures from diplomatic and economic sanctions to military action. Ahmadinejad: Israel, US will vanish (These are the identical methods used by Hitler to gain advanced staging grounds to then prosecute a European war. He made them scared to death of the war they saw coming - gained a massive advantage through his bluster and their appeasement - then all war broke loose. None of it has been lost on the Mullahs. They read that book) Israel has not signed the Nuclear Proliferation Agreement. However, she is of course - a UN member. The debate will rage in the upcoming weeks - it is a huge door for the Russians and Islamists to drive through. If the UN is the vehicle whereby they attempt to drive with - there is no hope - it seems - except for confrontation. The reason we can discuss it here is this - that confrontation may be what leads the world to a crisis far greater than we have thought about - without an Islamist world war.”

However it ends up starting, God intervenes and stops the attack in the mountains around Jerusalem. This is covered in the Ezekiel 38,39 Bible Study. Note several facts from the news. These are just a few, but as you’re looking through them, ask yourself if it doesn’t seem pretty clear from the news. And these are just the story titles! Click the links for more depth. And there’s so much more news lining up to prophecy. I’m trying to track it on the Gog/Magog news page. For instance, Iran and Syria have a defense agreement. Iran and Syria’s security is intertwined. Israel has threatened to attack Damascus. Isaiah 17 speaks to Damascus becoming a ruinous heap, and verse 9 says “they forsake the cities because of the children of Israel.”

Ezekiel 38 speaks of Gog/Magog being brought forth with hooks in their jaws. This gives me the impression that God brings them to the mountains of Israel. If they are coming on account of Damascus being made a ruinous heap, then watching the news, you could see why this could all happen very soon.

Then there’s the Russian and Turkish Muslim “peacekeeping” troops on the Northern border of Israel, where bunkers have been discovered all throughout the area. With Syria transporting weapons to the terrorists in Lebanon, I’m sure there’s plenty of weapons stashed away for these armies from the North.

Turkey has flat out said “Nobody should expect us to remain neutral” in regards to the current conflict. Russia is becoming a Muslim state. The Gog/Magog armies attack from the North suddenly and consist of Russian, Turkish, and Iranian troops among some other Muslim nations. Israel is actually requesting the Turkish assistance and welcoming these armies to their Northern border. Yet Jews are at risk as Turkey goes radical.

I think you can see where I’m going with all this. We could see all this happen quite suddenly, even before 2007 is over, as Israel’s clock runs out of time and they feel they have to act. Damascus is a previously declared target, housing many of the leaders of the terrorist organizations most wanted dead by Israel. I think Israel has good reason to act. Iran is about to get the nukes, although I believe they’ve had them for years through Russia. Now North Korea has nukes and the sides are formed. Israel can’t wait too much longer and nobody else in the world will come to her rescue. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is not of this world though!

Ezekiel 38:14-23
Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

The way things are going now, we could see this come to pass very soon. May the lost and blind in this world soon desire to see. There may not be much time left. Be ready to address this event when it happens and ascribe all glory to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The watchmen in these times will be the ones that will know what is really going on. The more we know what’s going on, the better we can answer the questions nobody else can and be that stable example of who Christ is and glorify His name for all He has done and given us.

Temple Rebuilt

Having just seen and recognized God’s defense of the nation of Israel, I believe many more Jews will Aliyah back to Israel in droves. I believe Israel will return to a state of orthodox Judaism and demand the rebuilding of the temple. In the interest of minimizing conflict, they will only build the inner court because the outer court is given to the Gentiles, the Dome of the Rock. More details on the Temple Mount.

However, given the blow to Islam and the recognition of the world that the God of Israel is who He says He is, I don’t think there will be any more serious obstacles to allowing the Jews to rebuild the temple. I believe until the abomination of desolation, Israel will continue to live in that peace and security that was interrupted temporarily by the Gog/Magog invasion attempt that God stops in the mountains of Israel.

It is also possible that they find the Ark of the Covenant, bringing even more Jews from around the world back to Israel. They already have all the temple instruments, trained priests, and rumors of already quarried stones for the temple walls. They are waiting for permission to rebuild and the red heifer ashes, but I heard that there may be some accompanying the Ark of the Covenant.

I believe the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant may have already happened, they’re just waiting for the right time to reveal it. Without the red heifer ashes, they can’t purify themselves to have a temple, nor do they have the political will to do so. This is why I believe the Gog/Magog attack thwarted by God is what brings them that political will. What better time and what better way to get the Jews back to the holy land than by the rediscovery of their tangible historical past?

The Great Tribulation and Beyond

This is basically a list of Bible studies from other pages in the order in which I believe they will happen according to my understanding of the Bible. I read the Bible literally and interpret symbols with scripture itself. This way my own bias does not enter into the equation as easily. I don’t have the Bible memorized though, so feel free to contact me anytime with your thoughts!

I’m not trying to predict to be right, but rather I’m taking what I’ve learned in Bible prophecy and applying it to the news I see happening today. God said we wouldn’t be in darkness regarding the end times and His Word lays out what will happen so it behooves us to understand what it says. There are foundational truths in Bible prophecy that will never change. What leads to them can be hard to discern sometimes though. I feel this is my role as a watchman, to observe and report. So as always, hold to Acts 17:11 and learn from the Bible yourself.

Acts 17:11
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

When the disciples asked Yeshua on the Mount of Olives what the signs of the end would be, Yeshua first warned them not to be deceived and then listed several pre-signs. Matthew 24:3-14 According to Christ, “the end” comes at the abomination of desolation, which begins the great tribulation. I’ve covered above the main events from Bible prophecy that lead to this time, the last of which being the rebuilding of the temple. This of course is required to stop the daily sacrifice and give the man of sin the temple in which to declare himself God. I’ve tied in the stories which I believe are leading to the end and there are more reasons I believe we are in the end times here. Now let’s examine that final 3½-year time beginning with the great tribulation.

  • Great Tribulation (3 ½ years [1260 days] Daniel 7:25) The great tribulation is split into two unequal parts as seen in Revelation 12:13-17. As a whole, the great tribulation represents Satan’s wrath against Israel and those holding the testimony of Christ.
    • Abomination of desolation - This is the beginning of the great tribulation. This diplomat (beast/antichrist) will enter the holy of Holies in the rebuilt Jewish temple he worked a deal to allow, and declare himself God to the world. Perhaps he declares himself god as a religious humanist might. However it turns out, this is the abomination of desolation. He will establish worship of himself and idols of himself. This will start the great tribulation that Christ spoke about in Matthew 24:15-22.
      • [My theory on the details of the abomination of desolation: The Bible says the seventh head of the beast is wounded to death. I believe when he declares himself god in the temple, the Jews will realize they’ve been had and a similar instance to the Maccabean revolt takes place, and a Jew or group of Jews attempt to assassinate the antichrist for his blasphemy, giving him the mortal head wound. They think they succeed but Lucifer is cast from heaven to earth with 1/3 of the angels. He raises/heals the beast who they just attempted to assassinate, and with great wrath and newfound power, the beast takes the dragon’s charge and goes after Israel. Thus starts the great tribulation. Revelation 12:7-9;13 He knows he has but a short time left and goes after Israel. For 42 months (1260 days) the dragon gives power to this beast Revelation 13:2 before Christ returns and throws him into the lake of fire. Revelation 13:5 This 3 ½ year timeframe is the same spoken of in Daniel 7:25. Those not taken in the harpazo will be given over to the beast.]
  • The time of Jacob’s trouble ~ Revelation 12:13-16 (<30 days long: The dragon is only after the woman [Israel] until she is protected from him for 1260 days. Revelation 12:14 In Daniel 12:11 it says from the abomination of desolation is 1290 days, so the first 30 days or so are focused on Israel, the time of Jacob’s trouble. About the same time, the 1/3 remnant of Israel will be taken to the wilderness away from the dragon for 3 ½ years. Revelation 12:14-17) Jeremiah 30:4-7 talks of this time as unparalleled in all of history where 2/3 of Israel will be killed by the antichrist and those that follow him. Zechariah 13:8,9 I believe Islam is primed to be that group. I believe their rise, happening currently, is the 4th seal, the pale (green) horse. This is the time that if it weren’t shortened, no flesh would be saved. This unparalleled time is also written of in Daniel 12:1 and Matthew 24:15-21. It’s key to understand that Matthew 24:29 is speaking about this unparalleled time when it places the sixth seal “immediately after the tribulation of those days.” This is that unparalleled time where 2/3 of Israel is killed, the time of Jacob’s trouble which he is saved from. That is when Israel is taken to the wilderness. Revelation 12:14
  • Great Tribulation Transition ~ Revelation 12:17 is the part of the great tribulation that the church of Thyatira is warned they will be cast into in Revelation 2:22. It is also the time that the church of Philadelphia is promised to be kept from in Revelation 3:10. This transition has several events tied together. They may not occur at the same time, but I have a feeling they do. Remember that Israel is blinded until the fullness of the Gentiles. That is the day and hour nobody knows. When the Gentiles are removed, Israel will be unblinded.
    • Israel taken to wilderness - Revelation 12:14
    • Catching Away (harpazo) - Sometime after the revealing of the antichrist (2 Thessalonians 2:1-5) and before the 6th seal, during or just after this time of great tribulation in Judea, the bride of Christ heads to the marriage of the Lamb when the harpazo takes place. Anyone is welcome to be taken, but only those watching for His return with the Holy Spirit will be taken. Matthew 25:1-13 We are not appointed to God’s wrath, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, and are promised to escape that time and stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:34-36 This is why I believe in a pre-wrath harpazo of the bride of Christ.
  • The 6th seal (Revelation 6:12-17) takes place, marked by a great earthquake, sun black as sackcloth, moon as blood, stars fall from the sky. It is this point that “the great day of his [God’s] wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:17 (See also: Joel 2:31)
  • Day of the Lord Begins with The Wrath of God - (Isaiah 13:6-11) There is silence in heaven for ½ hour at the 7th seal before God’s wrath begins to be poured out. During this time, Israel is in the wilderness being refined through fire. Zechariah 13:9

1 Thessalonians 5:1-3
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

  • During this time, the 7 trumpets, 7 thunders, and 7 vials/bowls are poured out on the earth. This is God’s wrath on the children of disobedience. These are poured out over the course of the final 1230 days from the sixth seal until Christ returns in glory.
  • Also during this final almost 3 ½ years, this beast, the great diplomat, will demand worship and his people will behead anyone professing Christ or refusing to worship him. He will also have his false prophet doing miracles along with him to deceive the world.
  • The beast and false prophet gathers the armies of the beast to the Jezreel Valley where Armageddon takes place. Revelation 16:13-16
  • Armageddon: Christ Returns in glory - 1260 days after the abomination of desolation, Christ returns in glory from the marriage with His bride. We know to the day because Revelation 13:5 says the dragon gives the beast his power for 42 months. (Daniel 12:11 minus Revelation 13:5) See the charts below
    • He wipes out the gathered armies and throws the beast and false prophet into the lake of fire. Revelation 19:20
  • Lucifer Bound in the bottomless pit - Revelation 20:1-3
  • Resurrection at the end of the 70th week - 30 Days after Christ returns in glory, at the end of the 70th week, the resurrection of Revelation 20:4-5 takes place.
  • The marriage supper of the Lamb - 45 days later after Christ returns in glory
  • The millennium - Yeshua rules from Jerusalem for 1,000 years!
    • After the millennium, Lucifer will be released for a short time and the world of Christ’s perfect and just rule will be polluted by Satan’s evil. He will deceive many people and gather an army that comes at Jerusalem. There are still those on the earth who don’t like the new ruler or His ways. God wipes them out completely. (There is a reason for everything that happens. This span of about 7,000 years of earth history will be a testimony for all eternity of God’s vast love for His creation. Even the angels are watching expectantly! Romans 8:18-25)
  • The great white throne judgment takes place and all the dead that have not been resurrected are. They stand before Christ and are judged by the books. Anyone without the blood of Christ covering their transgressions from God’s Law will be found guilty under the law and separated from God’s presence forever. This will be based completely on their choice to either accept or reject Christ since only by accepting Him are our sins covered and we are then not under the law. This is GehenahG1067 the outer darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. There is no love there because God is love and He does not inhabit this place. It was made for the fallen angels and all things who oppose God’s perfect rule. You don’t want to go here. God loves you and He doesn’t want you to go there either. 2 Peter 3:8-10. He desires your presence for eternity with Him. That’s why we were created, for communion with Him. You must ask Him into your heart though, because He doesn’t break laws and He made free will and gave it to each of us. He will not interfere with that. If you don’t know what it means to believe and be a Christian, pick up a Bible wherever you can and start reading the New Testament, about the God who became flesh so He could die for our sins and we could be with Him for all eternity, Yeshua the Christ. May His name be glorified in all things.
