Strong Indonesia Quake Forces Evacuations - A large earthquake struck off the west coast of Indonesia's Sumatra Island late Monday, and the U.S. Geological Survey said it was a major quake measuring a magnitude of 8.2.
Hitler Targeted the Handicapped First - The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum features an online display showing how German physicians under Adolf Hitler (and even before Hitler came to power) had created a euthanasia program to kill those deemed “unworthy of life.” According to the Museum: “The victims included the mentally retarded, the institutionalized mentally ill, and the physically impaired.”
Does the Bible Predict President Bush Will Start WW3? - According to UPI Intelligence Correspondent Richard Sale, Bush administration hardliners are working on a plan to launch strikes against Syria in response to Islamic guerrillas crossing Iraq's borders to train and in some cases to fight alongside insurgency forces. A former senior U.S. intelligence official told Sale, "I don't usually find myself in sympathy with the Bush neo-cons, but I think there is enough fire under this smoke to justify such action." Students of Bible Prophecy understand the significance of this language. Syria and Damascus are prophesied to become a heap of ruin in the last days. Babylon will also be destroyed and one-third of mankind will perish in a nuclear fire with another third dying from subsequent pestilence and famine.
Gang Will Target Minuteman Vigil on Mexico Border - Members of a violent Central America-based gang have been sent to Arizona to target Minuteman Project volunteers, who will begin a monthlong border vigil this weekend to find and report foreigner sneaking into the United States, project officials say. James Gilchrist, a Vietnam veteran who helped organize the vigil to protest the federal government's failure to control illegal immigration, said he has been told that California and Texas leaders of Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, have issued orders to teach "a lesson" to the Minuteman volunteers.
