• Kabbalist Blesses Jones: Now's the Time to Find Holy Lost Ark (May 20, 2005) - An unnamed Kabbalist has granted blessing to famed archeologist Dr. Vendyl Jones to uncover the Holy Ark of the Covenant. Jones plans to excavate the Lost Ark by the Tisha B'Av Fast this summer. The famed archaeologist, the inspiration for the "Indiana Jones" movie series, has spent most of his life searching for the Ark of the Covenant. The ark was the resting place of the Ten Commandments, given to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai, and was hidden just before the destruction of the First Temple. The Talmud says the Ark is hidden in a secret passage under the Temple Mount. Jones says that the tunnel actually continues 18 miles southward, and that the Ark was brought through the tunnel to its current resting place in the Judean Desert. Throughout the many years of his quest, Jones has been in close contact and under the tutelage of numerous Rabbis and Kabbalists. Extremely knowledgeable in Torah, Talmud and Kabbalah sources dealing with Holy Temple issues, Jones has now received permission from both known and secret Kabbalists to finally uncover the lost ark. Dr. Jones, who divides his time between Texas and Israel, has been here since March 9th ready to finally reveal the Ark. • South Korea Makes Strides in Human Cloning (May 20, 2005) - South Korean scientists blazed a trail in stem cell research that matches the country's global leadership in high tech sectors and promises to bring life-saving benefits to sufferers of incurable diseases. A team of experts led by Seoul National University professor Woo Suk Hwang said they produced stem cells by cloning human embryos using human eggs donated from volunteers and skin cells from patients. The research marked a step forward in efforts to fight difficult diseases by cloning "therapeutic" stem cells and transplanting them into humans to replace cells ravaged by illnesses such as Parkinson's and diabetes. In the study published by the journal Science, the group said there would be little risk of rejection by patients' immune systems because any potential therapy using this process would use cloned cells that share their own DNA makeup. "This process opens the possibility of rejection-free stem cell treatment of many incurable or difficult diseases and injuries," Hwang told journalists.
• Senate Committee to Review Controversial Patriot Act Legislation in Secret; Draft Legislation Hidden from Public Link Lost Media@dcaclu.org (May 20, 2005) - The Senate Intelligence Committee announced today that it is rushing forward with a markup of Patriot Act reauthorization legislation Thursday, but that the session will be behind closed doors. Some of the most extreme parts of the Patriot Act are set to sunset, or expire, at the end of this year unless Congress reauthorizes them. When lawmakers passed the Patriot Act just 45 days after 9/11, they included these sunsets because they knew that some provisions shouldn’t be made permanent. The committee will be reviewing legislation involving the sunsets and other key parts of the Patriot Act that impact civil liberties.  Members of Congress have until the end of the year to review and modify the Patriot Act, but some lawmakers hope to steamroll the entire process through Congress in the next few weeks. This closed-door markup is an indication that some in Congress are trying to rush through legislation, and keep the public in the dark. The following can be attributed to Anthony D. Romero, ACLU Executive Director: “One reason that people across the political spectrum are concerned about the Patriot Act is that so much of it is shrouded in secrecy. Many provisions are implemented secretly, and the government has kept secret key information on how it is being used. Now, lawmakers are trying to keep legislation to reauthorize the Patriot Act secret as well. “Nearly 400 communities, included seven states, have passed resolutions calling on lawmakers to bring the Patriot Act in line with the Constitution. Instead of addressing these legitimate concerns, and reviewing the act in daylight, some in Congress would rather hide behind closed doors away from public scrutiny. The Patriot Act has been the subject of heated debates in recent months—in Congress, in the media, and in households around the country. There is no good reason for the mark-up and vote on this public law to be kept secret from the public.”
• Scientists: Sumatra Quake Longest Ever Recorded (May 20, 2005) - Dramatic new data from the December 26, 2004, Sumatran-Andaman earthquake that generated deadly tsunamis show the event created the longest fault rupture and the longest duration of faulting ever observed, according to three reports by an international group of seismologists published Thursday in the journal "Science." "Normally, a small earthquake might last less than a second; a moderate sized earthquake might last a few seconds. This earthquake lasted between 500 and 600 seconds (at least 10 minutes)," said Charles Ammon, associate professor of geosciences at Penn State University.
• Rare Hurricane Hits El Salvador Coast (May 20, 2005) - Hurricane Adrian slammed into El Salvador today, unleashing torrential rains in an area prone to devastating floods and forcing some 14,000 people to seek higher ground.
  The center of the hurricane hit a stretch of coast south of the capital San Salvador, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center, which reported maximum sustained winds of almost 75 mph as Adrian made landfall. It was the first recorded Pacific hurricane to strike El Salvador. The hurricane was expected to weaken and continue moving northeast across El Salvador at about 9 mph before cutting across Honduras.
• An Occult Translation of the Roswell Event: Count down to 2012 (May 20, 2005) - No UFO conversation goes very long without mention of the Roswell event. It is the pre-eminent story of extraterrestrial folklore. Paradoxically, some say that what occurred near Roswell NM in July 1947 will never be entirely known. Others, like our own government, claim it was a simple case of misidentification... no mystery. But there is a mystery...and there is good reason to believe the truth was covered up.

  On July 8th 1947 the headlines of Roswell Daily Record reported:

  RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region. The intelligence office of the 509th Bombardment group at Roswell Army Field announced at noon today, that the field has come into possession of a flying saucer.

  The next day the Roswell headlines featured a retraction by the RAAF:

  An examination by the army revealed last night that mysterious objects found on a lonely New Mexico ranch was a harmless high-altitude weather balloon - not a grounded flying disk.

  The contrast between these Army statements aroused suspicion immediately. How could Army "intelligence" confuse a balloon with a flying saucer? Witnesses in Roswell had actually observed the disc flying overhead. Their story was featured with the Army's "Flying saucer" announcement in the July 8th, Roswell Daily Record:

  Mr. and Mrs. Dan Wilmot...were sitting on their porch at 105 South Penn. last Wednesday night at about ten o'clock when a large glowing object zoomed out of the sky from the southeast, going in a northwesterly direction at a high rate of speed...The object came into view from the southeast and disappeared over the treetops in the general vicinity of six mile hill... It was in sight less then a minute, perhaps 40 or 50 seconds. Wilmot said that it appeared to him to be about 1,500 feet high and going fast. He estimated between 400 and 500 miles per hour...In appearance it looked oval in shape like two inverted saucers, faced mouth to mouth, or like two old type washbowls placed, together in the same fashion...

• Ritual Abuse: The Attack on Our Children (May 20, 2005) - On June 25, 1992, Dr. Corydon Hammond gave a lecture entitled “Hypnosis in MPD: Ritual Abuse” to an audience of professionals at the Fourth Annual Eastern Regional Conference on Abuse and Multiple Personality in Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Hammond, a psychologist, has lectured, written and received many awards related to the field of psychology—including a 1998 Presidential Award for Advancements to Clinical Hypnosis. Dr. Hammond’s main subject was the ritual abuse of children. He stated that in as many as two-thirds of ritual abuse cases, the victims had been subjected to highly developed and uniform technology of mind control, suggesting that there is a large network of practitioners conducting such atrocities on children in the U.S. Often, according to Hammond, these will be “bloodline people,” that is, people who are involved in cultic practices such as Satanism or in American intelligence agency programs.
• The Military Defeat of Imperial USA — Commentary (May 20, 2005) - Since it is a fact most of the world would like to take the USA down a notch, there are only two ways to do this. One is economic and the other is military. The economic attack is already well under way. The fiat dollar collapse is an orchestrated attempt by foreign powers to drain the gasoline out of the US Imperial tank. We will be forced to withdraw from Iraq like the Romans were forced to withdraw from England. A seven trillion dollar debt doesn't leave much room for Imperial pretensions. Over the last few months we have seen a collapse in the overseas financing needed to maintain Imperial America. This is intentional and is designed to force us to cease our mindless overseas adventures. We are not getting the message. The message will be sent more directly over the next few years. War with both China and Russia is inevitable by 2020. The reason I know this is so is both the Russians and Chinese have openly told us. In addition, they are both taking concrete steps to do it. The USA finds itself in the situation of Europe in the 1930's: they read Hitler's Mien Kampf, they just didn't believe he meant it. When the USA is attacked, no one in America can claim both Russia and China didn't give ample warning of their intentions. Who do you think is behind Al Qaida anyway? Are we Americans so naive to think the Islamic terror offensive isn't the start of a long range, broad based military operation to destroy the USA? • Recent events in Middle East hopefully 'new start' on road to peace, Security Council told (May 20, 2005) - Recent events in the Middle East should hopefully be remembered as "a new start on the road towards peace" rather than a "slide back into conflict and violent confrontation," the senior political affairs officer at the United Nations told the Security Council today. With violence between Israelis and Palestinians having declined since a meeting between their two leaders in Egypt earlier in the year, "We hope that in the near future Prime Minister (Ariel) Sharon and President (Mahmoud) Abbas will continue the dialogue they began in Sharm el-Sheikh," Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Kieran Prendergast said during his monthly briefing on the Middle East.
• Human Embryo Cloned for First Time in Britain (May 20, 2005) - Scientists at Newcastle University, the first in Britain to obtain a license to carry out therapeutic cloning for stem cell research, said they had successfully produced a blastocyst -- a tiny, early-stage embryo consisting of a hollow ball of cells -- cloned from a human cell using nuclear transfer.
• His mission: Seek and ye shall find oil (May 19, 2005) - John Brown believes he'll find oil in central Israel, although he has no scientific data or particular experience in the drilling business on which to base that.
  The Dallas native is a relative novice in the energy industry. He says he'll find oil because his reading of the Bible tells him it's right here — under Maanit, an inland plain northeast of Tel Aviv, where he began drilling last month. "God sent me for one purpose: to help Israel with oil," says Brown, a born-again Christian, as he leafs through his Bible. Brown says he received divine inspiration, starting his company, Zion Oil, to help Israel become energy-independent. "I believe God talked to me." Zion's geologist, Stephen Pierce, and drilling manager, Stacy Cude, have decades of oil experience and plenty of discoveries under their belts for major producers such as Shell and Superior, now part of ExxonMobil. Like their boss, they also are born-again Christians, but they say there is science to support their faith in the project. The skeptics "are going to have a hard time once the oil comes," Brown predicts.

  Britain, France, Portugal, Czarist Russia, Nazi Germany, all persecuted and/or expelled Jews - as acts of self-defense and revenge.
  4. Zionism was created by Britain in order solve its Jewish problem by sending them to Israel.
  5. God has predetermined that the Jewish problem will be solved with the extermination of the Jews.
  6. God has predetermined that the Christian-Islam interactions will end with today's Christian countries under Islam.
  7. Israel has no right to exist and will be destroyed.

  Mudayris here is referring to following Hadith [Muslim tradition based on the sayings of Muhammad]: “The Hour [Resurrection] will not come until the Muslims make war against the Jews and kill them, and until a Jew hiding behind a rock and tree, and the rock and tree will say: ‘Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!’” He explains that the fulfillment of the often-preached Hadith means the extermination of every last Jew is Allah’s will and is, thus, inevitable. • The American Response to the Global Day of Prayer  (May 18, 2005) - The American response to the first-ever Global Day of Prayer (GDOP) far exceeded expectations, at least according to the planners of GDOP events. The American response to the first Global Day of Prayer (GDOP) exceeded expectations, said GDOP event planners. "It was far beyond what we could ask or imagine," said Dr. Robert Bakke, producer of the American arm of GDOP. According to organizers, the original U.S. goal was to have four large cities and two dozen small communities participate and act as models for "year one." However, by Tuesday, 182 communities - spanning 38 states and 1 overseas military command - reported holding events. Participants at each GDOP event prayed for God's mercy and forgiveness, repenting of sins and calling on the power of the Holy Spirit to dawn on this globe in a transformation and spiritual awakening.
• Senate Hearing on Historic Resolution Set for Wednesday, May 25th Aimee Herd  (May 20, 2005) - www.NativeRes.org has issued a prayer alert as the Senate hearing for the Resolution of Apology to the Native Peoples is scheduled for this coming Wednesday, May 25th, 2005. The hearings will come just one month after the resolution was introduced in the 109th Congress, by Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas. Supporters of the resolution are asking for prayer that it will pass quickly to the full Senate, and that the Lord's hand and grace will be upon the hearings.
