Matthew
24:3-14 - "And as he sat upon the mount of
Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when
shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of
the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed
that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am
Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of
wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to
pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences,
and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of
sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill
you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then
shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one
another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And
because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he
that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel
of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall the end come."
Russian
Forces Prepare For Massive Earthquakes as Gulf of Mexico Becomes 'Zone
of Death' and New Madrid Fault Zone Heads Towards Cataclysmic Event
By: Sorcha Faal (August 18, 2005)
- Russian Emergency Services are preparing for massive earthquakes
in Kamchatka after Russian Scientists have determined that the growing
instabilities presently occurring in our earths core regions will likely
lead to a series of Global Massive Earthquake and Volcanic events by
December of this year. The most troubled regions being reported upon by
Russian Scientists are Russia's Far East Regions and the North American
Continent. Lieutenant General Viktor Kapkanshchikov, head of the
ministry's regional center, said 30 rescue workers had been temporarily
transferred
here until December during the heightened earthquake alert, in the wake
of seismologists' warning that a magnitude 7.2 quake could rock the
region between now and December.
According to the official, additional equipment,
instruments and medical supplies will be delivered at the end of August
and a mobile hospital from the Rescue Center will be airlifted in early
September. Regional ministry branches are ready to deal with a possible
emergency, Kapkanshchikov said. The employees are taking preventive
measures to ensure fewer losses and less damage if an earthquake is to
strike the region. Such pressures have built upon the North American
Continent, and as we have previously reported upon in numerous reports
including our July 5th report titled "Massive Raising of Atlantic
Ocean Bed Triggers Current Changes As North American Plate Pressures
Build To 'Unprecedented Levels' Scientists Report", that the out
gassing of Carbon Dioxide from the ocean floors have caused massive fish
deaths and created 'Dead Zones' surrounding the entire North American
Continent, and as we can read as reported by the Associated Press News
Service in their article titled "Scientists: Red tide choked off
oxygen to Gulf floor" and which says;
"An unusually fierce red tide bloom this summer has
choked off oxygen and killed undersea life in a large region of the Gulf
of Mexico bottom about 10 miles offshore, scientists said. The area
between northern Pinellas and Pasco counties covers some of the spots
where divers previously reported a "dead zone" void of sea
life. Preliminary results of the research were reported Monday following
a research cruise by scientists last week." Massive Red Tide
outbreaks are one of the main indicators, and predictors, of volcanic
force out gassing of Carbon Dioxide which these massive Red Tides feed
upon, and as we can read, "Phytoplankton are believed to generate
as much as 80% of the world's oxygen supply. They absorb nutrients and
carbon dioxide from the water and produce oxygen through photosynthesis.
The two most common types of marine
phytoplankton are diatoms and dinoflagellates." more...

'Tomorrow
Jerusalem,' Abbas exults
Link Lost (August
16, 2005)
- Less than three days after he urged Palestinians to refrain from
excessive celebrations over the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza
Strip and northern West Bank, Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud
Abbas on Friday presided over a huge celebration in Gaza City where
he declared: "Today we are celebrating the liberation of Gaza
and the northern West Bank; tomorrow we will celebrate the
liberation of Jerusalem." PA Civil Affairs Minister Muhammed
Dahlan, who appeared next to Abbas, told the crowd that the
Palestinians were celebrating "the day of victory and the
beginning of a new era that was achieved with the blood of our
martyrs." Hamas and Islamic Jihad also held separate
celebrations in the Gaza Strip, where leaders of the two groups
announced that the fight against Israel would continue even after
the "escape of the Zionist enemy" from the Gaza Strip and
northern West Bank. They also declared that their groups would not
abandon their weapons after the disengagement and would not join the
PA security forces. Local reporters were invited on Friday to watch
more than 1,000 Hamas gunmen in military fatigue and armed with
AK-47 rifles and RPG rocket-propelled grenades stage a mock attack
on an Israeli settlement. It was the biggest show of strength by
Hamas's armed wing in years. At another Hamas rally in Jabalya
refugee camp, thousands of Palestinians attended a "graduation
ceremony" for new recruits belonging to the movement's armed
wing, Izzaddin Kassam. more...

World
experiencing 80% rise in earthquakes - A big earthquake hits Japan
– serious concern on Tsunami – Polar reversal blamed (August
16, 2005)
- It was a massive earthquake in Japan. It injured at least 26
people, triggered a tsunami warning and swayed towering buildings in
the heart of Tokyo. Japan's bullet trains and a nuclear power plant
were automatically shut down after the quake, which measured 7.2 on
the Richter scale, jolted the ocean floor off Miyagi prefecture 300
kilometres north of Tokyo. The biggest problem, according to sources
is that the tectonic plate shifts have increased the number of
serious earthquakes in the past one year by 80% and the rate is
exponentially increasing. Scientists are blaming the Polar reversal
and these will continue till 2012.Very rarely the Sun and the Earth
simultaneously reverses polarity. That is exactly what is happening
now. When this happens catastrophes happen in the earth. If history
is a guide of anything, these earthquakes and volcanoes will
continue to increase till 2012. more...

Waterborne
diseases spreading like epidemic after massive rain fall in Western
India – Mumbai water supply completely polluted – more than 300
die (August
16, 2005)
- Situation in Mumbai is tough. Slums are almost non-existent and
the basic water supply is totally polluted. The infrastructure that
was not repaired, maintained and enhanced for decades finally has
given up. According to media sources, health officials in western
India on Tuesday reported another 31 deaths from an outbreak of
waterborne diseases that followed flooding in the region, bringing
the total death toll from disease to 210. More than 6,000 patients
complaining of fever, nausea and breathlessness remain in hospitals
across western Maharashtra state and the death toll is expected to
rise, said R.R. Katti, a state health official. The 31 deaths
reported Tuesday occurred between Sunday and Monday morning. more...

- Praying
school board likened to terrorists (August
17, 2005)
- A local ACLU director equated al-Queda terrorists with members of
a Louisiana school board seeking to open their meetings with prayer.
Joe Cook of the ACLU of Louisiana spoke on camera with WAFB-TV,
Baton Rouge, La., while staff and teachers of the Tangipahoa Parish
district in New Orleans were at a seminar being informed of their
free-speech rights by a member of the Alliance Defense Fund.
Referring to the school board, Cook said, "They believe that
they answer to a higher power, in my opinion. Which is the kind of
thinking that you had with the people who flew the airplanes into
the buildings in this country, and the people who did the kind of
things in London." Mike Johnson, senior counsel and
southeastern regional coordinator for the Alliance Defense Fund,
said Cook has become increasingly outlandish in his statements.
"It shows the ACLU has become more and more extreme and
marginalized," said Johnson. "So, to that extent, I like
it when he talks, because he simply reveals who they are."
Johnson said the ACLU tries to "come across as champions of
liberty, but the truth of the matter is they are extremists."
"It's clear in a number of recent cases that the ACLU of
Louisiana wants to impose a radical form of secularism that the
Constitution doesn't require, and frankly, that people of this state
are not willing to accept," Johnson said. more...
- Myanmar
cracks down on churches (August
17, 2005)
- Myanmar's repressive government has cracked down on Christian
churches in recent weeks, closing 28 houses of worship after
residents had converted from Buddhism in large numbers. According to
Voice of the Martyrs sources working in the Asian nation formerly
known as Burma, the action is taking place in the Mandalay area. The
closed fellowships were "unofficial" evangelical churches
that did not belong to mainline denominations. Sources said military
officials forced pastors to sign documents saying they would stop
holding Christian meetings. According to the report, the pastors
have begun a 40-day fast during which they will consume only juice
and water while they pray for God's intervention. In Yangon, the
capital city, 17 churches reportedly have been closed, a Bible
school has been closed and one pastor has been arrested. The
crackdown there appears to relate to a group of Korean Christians
that had been on a "prayer walk" in the city. more...
- Israel
Sends in More Troops for Gaza Eviction (August
17, 2005)
- Convoys of buses, trucks and other vehicles carried security
forces into Gaza from Israel at Kissufim crossing. For weeks the
security forces have been training for scenarios that include
violent resistance. Buses carrying troops rolled into the settlement
of Ganei Tal. Israeli media reports said residents of Ganei Tal
agreed to leave peacefully by 1 p.m. (1000 GMT). But confrontation
loomed at Neve Dekalim, the biggest of the 21 Gaza settlements,
where hundreds of ultranationalist youngsters who slipped into the
community of red-roofed homes over the past several weeks holed up
in a synagogue for a possible last stand. Israel Radio reported the
army could complete the evacuation of all the settlements within
days, speeding up an operation the military had said it hoped to
complete by September 4. "We feel the residents' pain,"
Israeli police commissioner Moshe Karadi told The Jerusalem Post.
"But we will do our job and are entering with our full force to
show the settlers that we are unstoppable." The Gaza pullout,
hailed by Palestinian militants as a victory and assailed by its
Israeli opponents as surrender to violence, will mark the first
removal of Jewish settlements from land that Palestinians want for a
state. more...
- War
games seen as 'message' (August
17, 2005)
- A joint Chinese and Russian military exercise set to begin
tomorrow is meant as a political signal to the United States, in
addition to helping Moscow showcase its weapons for sale to China,
U.S. defense and intelligence officials said yesterday. "For
the Chinese and the Russians, this is a message to the United
States," one U.S. official said. "They want to see our
bases in Central Asia and presence in Asia cut back." The fact
that the United States was not invited to observe the war games is a
sign of the anti-U.S. nature of the exercises, said several
officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Defense
officials from India, Iran, Pakistan and Mongolia will be present in
China to observe the exercises. "We expect that China will
feature some of its latest assets alongside visiting Russian forces,
showcasing their military power and credible force," said a
defense official. This official said any time that nuclear powers
such as China and Russia conduct exercises together "it is of
international interest."
The eight days of exercises have been dubbed Peace Mission 2005 and
will involve about 10,000 Russian and Chinese troops who will fight
"terrorists" in a simulated regional conflict. more...
