Beheading Nations: The Islamization of Europe’s Cities
(July 13, 2006) -
We have seen videos on TV of Muslim Jihadis beheading
infidel hostages. Less attention has been paid to the fact that Muslims
are beheading entire nation states. Although this is happening in slow
motion, it is no less dramatic. Historically, the major cities have
constituted a country’s “head,” the seat of most of its political
institutions and the largest concentration of its cultural brainpower.
What happens when this “head” is cut off from the rest of the body? In
many countries across Western Europe, Muslim immigrants tend to settle
in major cities, with the native population retreating to minor cities
or into the countryside. Previously, Europeans or non-Europeans could
travel between countries and visit new cities, each with its own,
distinctive character and peculiarities. Soon, you will travel from
London to Paris, Amsterdam or Stockholm and find that you have left one
city dominated by burkas and sharia to find… yet another city dominated
by burkas and sharia. For some reason, this eradication of unique, urban
cultures is to be celebrated as “cultural diversity.”
Britain’s population is
projected to rise by more than seven million in the next 25 years. The
predictions were even greater than those made by the Migrationwatch UK
think-tank, whose forecasts
had been dismissed in the past as alarmist. Sir Andrew Green, the
chairman of Migrationwatch, said the figures were “staggering.” “They
totally demolish the Government’s claim that it has a ‘managed
migration’ policy. In fact they show that immigration into the UK is
out of control.” British citizenship has been granted to nearly one
million foreign nationals since
Labour and Tony Blair came to power in 1997. “Grants of citizenship
have quadrupled under the present Government. This is a direct result of
their ‘no limits’ immigration policy.” “Immigration on this scale is
changing the nature of our society without public consent. It is no
longer acceptable.” In an
online story in newspaper The Daily Telegraph that was removed “for
legal reasons,” former Muslim Dr. Patrick Sookhdeo warned that
British Muslims could soon form a state within the state. Dr Sookhdeo
believed that “in a decade, you will see parts of English cities which
are controlled by Muslim clerics and which follow, not the common law,
but aspects of Muslim sharia law.” “In 1980, the Islamic Council of
Europe laid out their strategy for the future – and the fundamental rule
was never dilute your presence. That is to say, do not integrate.”
“Rather, concentrate Muslim presence in a particular area until you are
a majority in that area, so that the institutions of the local community
come to reflect Islamic structures. The education system will be
Islamic, the shops will serve only halal food, there will be no
advertisements showing naked or semi-naked women, and so on.” more...

Terrorists Fight Israel With Russian Weapons
(August
7, 2006) - Israeli Internal Security
Minister Avi Dichter has said in an interview that "all the terrorists
surrounding Israel" are using Russian weapons, AFP reports. "All the
terrorists surrounding Israel are using Russian and Soviet-made arms —
Kalashnikov assault rifles and Katyusha rockets," Dichter told the
Russian daily Vremya Novostei in an interview published Tuesday. "We
don't have information about direct contacts between Hezbollah
combatants and Russia, but we know quite well about Hezbollah's direct
contacts with Syria and Iran," Dichter said. Russian sales of
anti-aircraft missiles to Syria and Iran have been heavily criticized by
the United States and Israel. Last week, the U.S. government imposed
sanctions on Russian jetmaker Sukhoi and arms export monopoly
Rosoboronexport, citing their weapons sales to Iran.
President Vladimir Putin defended the sale
of anti-aircraft missiles to Syria in 2004, saying they posed no threat
to Israel.

Reuters News Admits to Doctored Photo - Other Media Correspondents
Speak of Hizbullah's Control over What News is Shown
(August
7, 2006) - After being confronted as to the veracity of a photo
depicting an Israeli air strike, Reuters News Agency has admitted to the
doctoring of two photos by photographer Adnon Hajj. Reuters recalled the
photos, posting a "photo kill" and apology, as well as terminating
relationship with Hajj, the same photographer behind the controversial
photos of the Kfar Kana victims, which have also been called into
question. The statement on the Reuters website reads:
Reuters has withdrawn from its database all photographs taken by
Beirut-based freelance Adnan Hajj after establishing that he had
altered two images since the start of the conflict between Israel and
the Lebanese Hizbollah group.
An immediate enquiry began into Hajj's other work. It found on Monday
that a second photograph, of an Israeli F-16 fighter over Nabatiyeh,
southern Lebanon and dated Aug 2, had been doctored to increase the
number of flares dropped by the plane from one to three.
He added that the mere fact that Hajj had altered two of his
photographs meant none of his work for Reuters could be trusted either
by the news service or its users.

photographs in this way is entirely unacceptable and contrary to all of
the principles consistently held by Reuters throughout its long and

Like I've been saying with Pallywood and other such stories of faked
news, we can't trust anything that comes from these people. With their
glorifying of death, I wouldn't be surprised if they've brainwashed
women and children to want to martyr themselves by hanging around the
rocket launchers or just plain faking the numbers of casualties. The
"massacre in Kana" has some interesting aspects to it, like the fact
that the building collapsed hours after being hit and that is what
caused all the deaths. Why didn't they evacuate the building in those
hours before it fell? How trustworthy are the reports that enrage people
around the world? More on that in the
story below. I know for sure that Hezbollah is firing rockets
terrorizing Israel without regard for their landing and Israel is
targeting specific launchers after they have launched said missiles.

As this ancient evil over Persia (Iran) issues its
threats through this human figurehead, so does the Prince of Tyre,

Lebanon as a Messiah figure, the Hizbullah chieftain has recently
taunted Israel's faith, claiming that his army's faith is far stronger
than that of Israel, that Hizbullah is the "Army of Allah" which will be
used to defeat Israel and the U.S. and bring a great salvation to all
Islamic peoples. In Ezekiel 28 we are given a portrait of the "faith" of
the Prince of Tyre-"Your heart is lifted up and
you have said, 'I am El (God), I sit in the seat of Elohim'. yet you are
a man, and not a god, though you set your heart as the heart of a god .
. . they shall throw you down into the Pit, and you shall die the death
of the slain" (vss. 1,8). There is only one "EL" and that is
"EL ELYON"-GOD MOST HIGH- who in Yeshua (Jesus) His Son is GOD WITH US (Immanu-EL)
-- born in Bethlehem, whose Name is now above Every Name which is Named.

| This story is biased without
looking outside of the earth, but I believe it shows well the increase
over the past few years, but it's important when seeing the evidence
of global warming that we recognize that this pattern of warming is
occurring throughout our solar system. Why is that important? Because
there's lots of special interest trying to get funds to "fix" the
problem which isn't our fault to begin with as many claim.
Mars has been experiencing global warming too, and I think it has more
to do with the increased solar activity than our car pollution.
Even the story admits that there is increased methane bubbling under
the ocean all over the place, which contributes along with volcanoes
to much of the ozone-depleting gases. While I would prefer to
implement
water cars that private inventors are working on, I'm not going to
fall for the guilt trip. That said, I would much rather use water as
fuel with water for exhaust than give money to the oil companies
who buy it from enemy states in the Middle East who could potentially
use that money against us. However, I think those "dark forces" would
like to keep the servitude of the populous just like it is if not
worse. Meanwhile, the love of many waxes cold.

Is Hezbollah launching Iran's Armageddon?
(August
4, 2006) - It's common wisdom to say that the war between
Hezbollah and Israel is a regional struggle that also includes Iran and
Syria, who have supported and supplied Hezbollah. What seems to be less
understood is that this is the first war between the Islamic Republic of
Iran and Israel, via Iran's proxy Hezbollah, and that its overarching
purpose is to advance Iran's ambitions to export the Islamic revolution
throughout the Middle East. Thus, while religion has always played an
important role in prior Arab-Israeli wars, this time it has moved to
center stage. It is the theological aspect of this conflict that makes
it so explosive and could lead to its expansion. As an observer of the
conflict from Iraq, I see the signs that Iran may be starting to launch
the mullahs' version of an Armageddon, exploiting the religious beliefs
of devout Shiites in the region. While this may sound more the stuff of
prophecies than international relations, it is important to understand -
especially in countries such as Lebanon and Iraq that have large Shiite
populations. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran and the Shiite cleric
Muqtada al-Sadr in Iraq are both devout believers in the "Imam" of Shia
Islam. Also known as "Imam Mehdi" - hence the name of Sadr's militia,
the Mehdi Army - he was the 12th grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.
According to certain branches of Shia Islam, the return of the "hidden
Imam" must be prepared by his followers, in a particular sequence of
events. Chaos and rampant violence in the region are supposed to be
among signs leading to the main battle in which the Imam will return to
lead Shiites to victory. more...

More and More Germans Become Muslims
(August
4, 2006) - More and more Germans are converting to Islam. Last
year approximately 4,000 persons became Muslims. According to the
Central Islam-Institute in Soest, the numbers have been rising since the
turn of the century. Up to the year 2000 the annual number of
conversions stagnated at 300, but it has been rising ever since. The
institute’s director, Salim Abdullah, has no plausible explanation for
this trend, as he told the evangelical news agency “idea”. In the past,
converts were chiefly women, who married Muslims, or academics with an
“affection for the Orient”. Today people from all walks of life are
among the converts, according to Abdullah, who is a German born Muslim
himself. The Islamic Fellowship of Germany attracts especially high
numbers of converts – about 500 per year. According to the Office for
the Protection of the Constitution in Baden-Wuerttemberg (one of the 16
federal states) the fellowship is associated with the radical Muslim
Brotherhoods. According to Abdullah there are 3.2 million Muslims in
Germany. Most of them are Turkish immigrants. Their religious life is
flourishing. Abdullah expects the number of Mosques to double within the
coming years. Currently there are 143 fully-fledged mosques. 128 are in
the planning or building stages. In addition Muslims gather in 2.600
prayer and meeting places. Approximately two thirds of the 82 million
inhabitants are church members. The Protestant Churches have 25.6
million members and the Roman Catholic Church 25.8 million.
Approximately 500,000 Germans belong to smaller, often evangelical
churches such as Baptists or Pentecostals. It has been noted by the
churches that interest in religion is rising in Germany, but it is not
focused on Christianity. Today, the citizens in Martin Luther’ home
country are equally fascinated by esoteric practices, Buddhism and
Islam. |

Evidence Mounts that Kana "Massacre" Was a Fake (August
3, 2006) - The world awoke Sunday to the news that an Israeli
airstrike killed 57 Lebanese civilians, leading Israel to stop
airstrikes for 2 days - but evidence indicates the "massacre" may have
been a fraud. The supposed massacre caused a major turnabout in world
diplomacy. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice suddenly canceled her
plans to fly to Beirut, saying "my work towards a ceasefire is really
here [in Jerusalem] today." The implication was clearly that the onus
was now upon Israel. French President Jacques Chirac condemned Israel's
"unjustified action which demonstrates more than ever the need for an
immediate ceasefire," Jordan's King Abdullah called it an "ugly crime,"
and other world leaders echoed these sentiments. However, the incident
may have been all one big fraud, staged by Arab elements for the world
media in order to lead precisely to the situation described above. The
central piece of evidence leading to this conclusion is the fact,
mentioned by IDF officials from the very beginning, that the building
collapsed a full seven hours after the Israel Air Force bombing. Why,
then, would the residents inside not have been evacuated in the
meantime? As Brig.-Gen. Amir Eshel of the Israeli Air Force told
reporters Sunday night, “It is difficult for me to believe that they
waited eight hours to evacuate it.” Without additional evidence, Eshel
merely left open the possibility that Hizbullah terrorists, or
explosives they left behind, caused the explosion.

all that they would fake this news. That's the only way they can get
people on their side is by lying about things like that because they are
so obviously evil without the veil of lies. Think I'm full of it? Check
out the video footage they don't want you to see of ambulances taking
off to non-existent emergencies just because the cameras are rolling. Or
the "dead" guy on a stretcher that gets back on himself when he's
accidentally dropped. The list of falsified news is tremendous and they
play that card constantly to make Israel appear evil and themselves

who until now was identified with the Israeli Left, has come out on
recent days saying publicly in various radio interviews, "I was wrong
when I thought that withdrawing to border lines would bring peace." On
July 28 Sobol went another step, and in an interview on Army Radio this
afternoon, he slammed Israelis who call for an immediate cease-fire.
"Anyone who supports an immediate cease-fire is essentially supporting
Hizbullah, and it is beyond me how anyone from the Left can come out
supporting such a group," Sobol explained. |

Israel Ready For Full-Scale Assault (August
8, 2006) - Hezbollah has pounded Israeli cities with more than
3,000 rockets in a month, the worst bombing Israel has faced in its
history. And Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, touring the
front, said: "Enough." If there is no international agreement to stop
the fighting within a day or two, he said, the gloves are off. "We are
going to win this war," Olmert said. "As I said from Day One, it is
not going to be easy." After weeks of resisting a full ground invasion
of south Lebanon, Olmert gave the army the green light Monday to push
at least 18 miles from the Israeli border to the Litani River. He said
there is no limit. The aim is to push Hezbollah out of Katyusha rocket

Iran Says US Or Israeli Attack Will Face "Raging Sea" (August
8, 2006) - Any U.S. or Israeli attack against Iran
will be returned by a force 100 times stronger, the head of the
Revolutionary Guards said on Monday, as pressure mounts on Tehran's
atomic work and its support for Hizbollah. "There is no doubt that if
these criminals attempt any operation or vicious assault, they will
receive blows 100 times harder," said Yahya Rahim-Safavi,
commander-in-chief of the Revolutionary Guards. "They will not last
against the raging sea of the Iranian people and the power of Islamic
Iran," he was quoted as saying by the official IRNA news agency. The
U.N. Security Council
has demanded Iran end its atomic work by the end of this month after
Tehran failed to convince the international community its atomic
scientists were only working on power stations and not on bombs.
Washington has declined to rule out military strikes as a solution to

Taiwan Confirms FM Visited Hezbollah Chief, Sparking US And Israeli
Concern (August
8, 2006) - Taiwan's foreign minister James Huang visited the
leader of the Hezbollah guerrilla group in a controversial clandestine
trip earlier this year, triggering concern from the United States and
Israel,
the foreign ministry has said. "Through the arrangement of friends,
Minister Huang visited Hezbollah's secretary-general Sayyed Hassan
Nasrallah in April to promote ties," foreign ministry spokesman Michel
Lu told AFP. The trip touched off controversy here, with critics
urging the ministry to be cautious in dealing with what Israel regards
as a terrorist group. Lu confirmed reports that both the US and Israel
had "voiced concerns" about Huang's landmark visit to Lebanon. "We
told them it was a kind of courtesy call. After that, they have not
approached us on the issue," Lu said. In response to criticism, Lu
said some members of Lebanon's cabinet are from Hezbollah. "Besides,
the trip came before the eruption of conflicts between Israel and

FBI Searching For 11 Egyptian Students (August
8, 2006) - Eleven Egyptian students who arrived in the United
States last month are being sought by authorities after failing to
turn up for an exchange program at Montana State University. The
Egyptian men were among a group of 17 students who arrived at John F.
Kennedy International Airport in New York from Cairo on July 29 with
valid visas, according to U.S. authorities and university officials.
The other six have arrived at the Bozeman, Mont., campus for a
monthlong program on English language instruction and U.S. history and
culture, university spokeswoman Cathy Conover said. When the 11 didn't
turn up by the end of the last week, the FBI issued a lookout to state
and local law enforcement, said FBI Special Agent Richard Kolko. "At
this point all they have done is not show up for a scheduled academic
program," Kolko said. "There is no threat associated with these men." more...

Quake strikes Vanuatu, Philippine volcano spews (August
8, 2006) - The earth was shaking around the globe yesterday as
a strong earthquake jolted the island of Vanuatu in the South Pacific,
prompting tsunami warnings, and the Mayon volcano in the Philippines
appeared on the verge of an eruption. The Vanuatu quake hit at 9:18
a.m. local time about 50 miles from Vanuatu's largest island, Espiritu
Santo, in the north of the island chain, the U.S. Geological Survey
said. Meanwhile, six sharp explosions roared in the Mayon volcano,
sending ash columns high into the sky and forcing the evacuation of
50,000 people. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology
raised the alert to level 4, saying an explosive eruption appeared
imminent. Level 5 represents an ongoing eruption. Army trucks and
other government vehicles have been deployed to ferry residents to at
least 30 evacuation centers. Lava has been flowing at the volcano
since July 14. Mayon is one of the Philippines' 22 active volcanoes.
Its most violent eruption, in 1814, killed more than 1,200 people and
buried a town in mud. A 1993 eruption killed 79 people. The
Philippines is in the Pacific "Ring of Fire," where volcanic activity
and earthquakes are common. An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 on
the Richter scale also struck a group of remote Japanese islands.

Tests show clinic drenched in blood (August
8, 2006)

former abortion clinic
- A Wichita, Kan.,
building that formerly was used as the headquarters for an abortion
business had blood covering its walls "from floor to ceiling,"
according to a witness. The building, purchased recently by
Operation Rescue, was the home for Central Women's Services before
the business fell behind on its rental payments and Operation Rescue
purchased the site. After the purchase, Operation Rescue invited
reporters and others to visit the site, pointing out the room where
aborted babies were stored until they were collected for disposal, the

Syrian Minister Rejects Cease-Fire Plan Associated
Press (August 7, 2006) - The Syrian
foreign minister declared on Sunday that the U.S.-French cease-fire
plan was "a recipe for the continuation of the war" and he warned his
armed forces were under orders to respond immediately if Israel
attacks. "If Israel attacks Syria by any mean, on the ground, by air,
our leadership ordered the armed forces to reply immediately," Syrian
Foreign Minister Walid Moallem said after emerging from a meeting with
Lebanese President Emile Lahoud.

Major Alaskan Oil Field Shutting Down (August
7, 2006) - In a sudden blow to the nation's oil supply, half
the production on Alaska's North Slope was being shut down Sunday
after BP Exploration Alaska, Inc. discovered severe corrosion in a
Prudhoe Bay oil transit line. BP officials said they didn't know how
long the Prudhoe Bay field would be off line. "I don't even know how
long it's going to take to shut it down," said Tom Williams, BP's
senior tax and royalty counsel. Once the field is shut down, in a
process expected to take days, BP said oil production will be reduced
by 400,000 barrels a day. That's close to 8 percent of U.S. oil
production as of May 2006 or about 2.6 percent of U.S. supply
including imports, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information
Administration. The shutdown comes at an already worrisome time for
the oil industry, with supply concerns stemming both from the

Iran Threatens To Use 'Oil Weapon' In Nuclear Standoff (August
7, 2006) - Iran warned Britain and the US yesterday that the
international community could face a new oil crisis if the United
Nations security council imposes sanctions on Tehran over its alleged
attempt to acquire a nuclear weapons-making capability. Speaking in
Tehran, Ali Larijani, the country's chief nuclear negotiator and head
of the supreme national security council, said Iran would be reluctant
to cut its oil exports. "We do not want to use the oil weapon. It is
them who would impose it upon us." But Mr Larijani added that if the
west did decide on sanctions, "we will react in a way that would be

believe they would, and probably will. They're getting pretty cocky
and for good reason. Much of the weak West just gives them whatever
they demand. Read through the news and you'll see stories of
Christians being shut up for speaking up about the clear dangers of
this religion of hate that's spreading across the globe. How can I say
that? I don't have to, listen to them. Read their own Koran.
There's a reason they hate Jews, and it's not because of the lie that
the Jews stole their land. The evidence is in history and the proof is
in the documents that created Israel. I've seen a picture of Jerusalem
before Israel was there. It was desolate except for a small number of
residents. Now as soon as Israel was back in the land, they started
making a big stink because according to their religion, once Islam
takes a land, no other group can have it. Their goal is world
domination and conversion to Islam or death. I'm afraid most people
will wake up to this reality when the blade is at their neck. Until
then, just giving them what they want will only lead to our downfall,
of course that's Bible prophecy too. Time to make a choice.

6, 2006) - Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem crossed into
Lebanon Sunday for the first visit by a top Syrian official in more
than a year, Lebanon's state news agency said. Speaking to reporters
after the meeting with his Lebanese counterpart, Fawzi Salloukh,
Moallem said "Syria is ready for the possibility of a regional war if
the Israeli aggression continues." He added that a US-French draft
resolution to end the war "adopted Israel's point of view only."
Underlining his support for Hizbullah, Moallem said, "as Syria's
foreign minister I hope to be a soldier in the resistance." Salloukh
said that "Israel cannot take in peace what it had failed to take in

Russia Remains Iran’s Ally In Spite Of Supporting UN Resolution

Islamic Republic will continue developing relations with Russia and
China, despite their supporting a UN Security Council resolution. The
five permanent UN Security Council members, including Russia and
China, voted July 31 in favor of a resolution to set August 31 as a
deadline for Iran to suspend all uranium enrichment activities. If
Iran fails to fulfill the UN’s demands, economic and diplomatic

Iran had long-term relations with Russia and China and friends could

has been a source of major controversy since the beginning of the

her two daughters, Samira, 31, and Sultana, 33, were killed by a
Hizbullah rocket attack on their home in the Israeli-Bedouin village
of Arab al-Aramshe, the international media has so far largely ignored
their deaths. Reuters was alone among non-Israeli media outlets to
report the deaths, according to a Google news search, a number of
hours after the first reports of the attack surfaced. The lack of
coverage of the Israeli civilian war casualties stands in marked
contrast to the swift response by many sections of the international
media to reported Lebanese casualties. Meanwhile, the British press,
which has produced some of the most venomous anti-Israel coverage
during the war, has continued its tirade against Israel.

Iran's smuggling of uranium from African mine uncovered (August
6, 2006) - Tanzanian customs officials have uncovered an
Iranian smuggling operation transporting large quantities of
bomb-making uranium from the same mines in the Congo that provided the
nuclear material for the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima sixty-one
years ago today, reports the London Sunday Times. A United Nations
report, outlining the interception last October, said there is "no
doubt" the smuggled uranium-238 came from mines in the Democratic
Republic of the Congo's mineral-rich Katanga province. The Shinkolobwe
uranium mine was officially closed and its main shafts covered with
concrete in 1961, before the country became independent from Belgium,
but U.N. investigators have reported evidence of ongoing mining
operations.

Hezbollah Iran Missiles Slam Hadera Israel - Nuclear War Approaching?
(August 5, 2006) - The only good
thing about the terror group Hezbollah (Hizbollah) or Islam Party of
God is that they keep their promises. Just two days ago Hezbollah
terror leader Hassan Nasrallah said from Lebanon that he would strike
Tel Aviv, Israel with missiles if the Israel Defense Forces attacked
parts of central Beirut. A few hours ago, Hezbollah launched three
Iran missiles at the Israel city of Hadera. Hadera is 70 miles south
from the Lebanese border and 30 miles north from Tel Aviv. The strike
was the deepest inside Israel to date in the fighting between the
Jewish state and the Lebanon-based terrorists. Hezbollah is believed
to have missiles that can reach Tel Aviv, but such an attack would
trigger a massive Israel response. One that would most likely include
Syria and Iran. Iran admitted today that it did indeed supply
long-range Zelzal-2 missiles to Hizbullah. The longer-range Zelzal
missiles, manufactured by Iran and are capable of reaching Tel Aviv,
Jerusalem and Beer Sheva in the Negev. In making this announcement,
Iran reinforced its statement of "wiping Israel off the map" and
though bullets are not flying yet between Israel and Iran, both

Iran: We supplied Zelzal-2 to Hizbullah
(August 5, 2006) - Iran admitted
for the first time on Friday that it did indeed supply long-range
Zelzal-2 missiles to Hizbullah. Secretary-general of the "Intifada
conference" Mohtashami Pur told an Iranian newspaper that Iran
transferred the missiles so that they could be used to defend Lebanon,
Channel 1 reported. The extent of Iran's intimate involvement in
Hizbullah attacks is starting to emerge. According to the defense
establishment, the reason Hizbullah has not fired long-range
Iranian-made Fajr missiles at Israel is due to Teheran's opposition.
Israel now understands that without direct orders from the ayatollahs,
Hizbullah is not allowed to use Iranian missiles in attacks against

Iraqi Shiites Chant 'Death To Israel'
(August 4, 2006) - Hundreds of
thousands of Shiites chanting "Death to Israel" and "Death to America"
marched through the streets of Baghdad's biggest Shiite district
Friday in a massive show of support for Hezbollah in its battle
against Israel. No violence was reported during the rally in Sadr
City. But at least 26 people were killed elsewhere in the country,
most of them in a car bombing and gun battle in Mosul in the north.
The demonstration was the biggest in the Middle East in support of
Hezbollah since Israel launched its attacks against the guerrillas in
Lebanon on July 12. The protest was organized by radical Shiite cleric
Muqtada al-Sadr, whose political movement built around the Mahdi Army
militia has been modeled after Hezbollah. Al-Sadr summoned followers
from throughout the Shiite heartland of southern Iraq to converge on
Baghdad for the rally but he himself did not attend.

Syria Transfers Deadly Russian Weapons to Hezbollah (August
7, 2006) - The majority of the Israeli Defense Force’s
ground-troop casualties, both infantry and armored, were the result of
Russian-made anti-tank units of Hezbollah, according to intelligence
sources quoted by Haaretz daily. The same sources note that these
units have not retreated from southern Lebanon following the
deployment of large Israeli ground forces in the area. The Hezbollah
anti-tank teams use a new and particularly potent version of the
Russian-made RPG, the RPG-29 that was sold by Moscow to the Syrians
and then transferred to the Shi’ite organization. The RPG-29’s
penetrating power comes from its tandem warhead, and on a number of
occasions has managed to get through the massive armor of the Merkava
tanks. At first Israeli inquiries that Russia was transferring modern
anti-tank weapons to Syria and on to Hezbollah were received with
anger. The Russians demanded proof that this had been done. Contrary
to common practice, Israel transferred to Russia the tail-end of a
rocket for analysis. The Russian response was that in the absence of a
serial number it was difficult to identify it as part of a load
delivered to Syria. Israel believes Hezbollah also has an advanced
anti-aircraft missile, the SA-18, from Iran, the paper adds. It is
particularly lethal against helicopters, and even though none of the

future" with vehicle-to-vehicle communication, or V2V, and some advances
that would make V2V possible are already on the way. According to
reporter Preston Lerner, to encourage the development of V2V, the
Federal Communications Commission has reportedly cleared the
5.9-gigahertz band for dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) among
cars, other cars, and roadside transceivers. "The technology is doable
right now," says Carsten Bergmann, a VW lab manager. For example, Lerner
notes, "General Motors has demonstrated a DSRC-equipped Cadillac CTS
that stops itself to avoid accidents. Its enhanced stability-control
system predicts where it's headed-like, into the rear end of another
DSRC car stopped in the middle of the road-and prompts the onboard
computer to apply the brakes without any input from the driver. The

to be Subjected to Tribunal and Threatened with Execution for Giving

reports, Mr. Baghani, a secret service official with responsibilities
for minorities, advised that Issa should renounce his faith and return
to Islam, for only then will he be free. He said the judge will not
accept any other solution." On 24 July, an Iranian Christian named Issa
Motamadi was imprisoned on account of his faith. French internet news
site, VoxDei, reports that Issa Motamadi, a resident of the
north-western town of Resht, the capital of Gilan Province, will soon
stand trial before a Revolutionary Tribunal. Sources with knowledge of
the situation request prayer for Issa, his wife Parvah - both converts
to Christianity - and their young son. They also appeal to human rights
and religious liberty organizations, and request that they intercede for
Issa Motamadi to their Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

An Important Clue is Found in the Cure for Muscular Dystrophy
(July 31, 2006) - "US scientists
have found a way to reverse muscular dystrophy (MD) in mice, offering
hope of a cure for humans with muscle-wasting diseases." In new studies
involving mice the University of Virginia may have discovered a new clue
to the reversal of myotonic dystrophy, which is the most common form of
muscular dystrophy (MD) in adults. MD is caused when DNA abnormalities
carry over into RNA, and cause toxic build-up. The build-up breaks down
the muscle, causing weakness. In the study, scientists used an
antibiotic, pouring it into their water source, effectively making an
"on" and "off switch to control MD in mice. Their study wasn't entirely
effective, but it "provided the proof scientists have been waiting for,
to demonstrate that it might be possible to reverse muscular dystrophy."

war in North America grows ever more intense, it might give pause to
those in that part of the western hemisphere to note what sort of
inanities are occurring on the continent of Europe, where secularists
have already won. In the Netherlands: Pedophiles are in the
process of registering their own political party in order to more
efficiently push their agenda there. According to WorldNetDaily, that
agenda includes legalized child porn, bestiality and, initially at
least, lowering the legal age of consent from 16 to 12. Later, say
leaders of the group, they want to remove age-of-consent laws
altogether. The good news, according to the article, is that a survey of
Dutch public opinion found that 82 percent believe that the government
should do something to prevent the party from forming. In Spain:

fundamental legal right to "great apes." The socialists got the idea
from the Great Ape Project, which demands "the extension of the
community of equals to include all great apes: human beings,

destroy the Jewish state. Now, should Israel succeed in crushing
Hezbollah with military force, Syria and Iran face the prospect of a
