This topic is actually what initially woke me up to my study of Bible
prophecy when in December of 2004 the Indonesian earthquake and
following tsunami caused such devastation. A passage well remembered
caught my interest.
Matthew
24:3-8
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him
privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what
shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive
you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall
deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see
that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but
the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and
pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these
are the beginning of sorrows.
Yes “earthquakes” are a small part of this prophecy warning of
the beginning of sorrows, but they were a part and it started me
looking further into the subject of prophecy all-together. Something
that I noticed was the amount of space and earth changes involved in so
much of the events, from meteorites and asteroids to signs in the sun
and moon that go beyond normal natural phenomenon. This got me looking
deeper into possible reasons why.
My theory is currently improvable, but brings together many aspects
of both Bible prophecy and current events that will lead up to their
fulfillment. I believe it helps explain some of the oddities in
earthquakes, volcano activity, solar system temperature changes and our
sun. I believe these changes are the result of what will ultimately be
the sign of the
sixth seal and the beginning of the
day of the Lord and the
wrath of God.
I believe there is another element to these “earth changes” that
is being used by the environmental movement to further bring
together a New World Order through
redistribution of wealth under the guise of “saving the planet.”
