The Importance of Watching & Understanding Bible Prophecy
Should we understand Bible prophecy? Is there any point in watching? Can we really know the future based on God's Word? I believe the answer to these questions is yes and I will go into why I believe that at this meeting.
As a continuing part of these meetings, I will also be discussing current news for the week as forwarded in the Watchman Newsletter.

I believe God says what He means and means what He says. Today I’ll be going over what God said about us watching.
What are we watching for? Christ’s coming for us at the last day.
- He gave us more signs of the end to recognize the times leading to that time as well.

SL - Who is God’s wrath for?
- Ephesians 5:1-8
SL - We are promised escape from God’s wrath through the harpazo (discuss later in great depth [precepts needed first])
- We are the children of obedience.
- 50% of those watching for the bridegroom in Matthew 25:1-13 are shut out of the door
- Not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven Matthew 7:15-24
- Part of what Christ told us to do was watch and the two conditions in Luke 21:34-36 to escape were to watch and pray.
  - Watching so that we are not deceived. (Understanding the signs of the times)
  - Praying is communion with God, personal relationship with Christ through the Holy Spirit.
- The purpose of our harpazo is to attend the marriage of the Lamb as the bride.
- Precursor to this is
  - A great apostasia, or falling away from God. These are the deceptions of the end times we need to be aware of. Many will be led away from God through signs and lying wonders, but we’re told to wait upon Christ who will come for us and call us up to meet Him. Until then we are to be a light in the world.
  - Revealing of the antichrist when he declares himself god in the rebuilt temple.
We will be getting into some of the deceptions of the end times as a result of watching events unfold. The reality that we are in the end times becomes more apparent the more we see deception running rampant in the world. The Bible is our foundation and the world does not live according to it. That is why obedience is key.
- We’re not perfect and make mistakes. That is where grace comes in. But we should always work to refine ourselves to Christ’s image – obedience.
SL - Can we know details about the future from Bible prophecy?
- John 15:14,15
- God’s Word is a light unto our paths
- It was written through God’s servants the prophets as led by the Holy Spirit 2 Peter 1:20,21
- It was written precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little there a little Isaiah 28:9-13
- We need the guidance of the Holy Spirit to understand the details of what Yeshua said, written in His Word. John 14:23-27 The anointing oil for our lamps that gives us the fuel to have a flame to produce light. That light from God’s Word will guide us in the direction or way we should go, the straight and narrow that leads to Christ.
- Moreover, as we will get into in later meetings, it reveals extreme detail about the future of earth history, for only the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob knows the end from the beginning. It is for His glory and the edification of the bride that I’m excited to share what I have found in my search for Truth.
- SL – Timing of future events? (I’ll be getting into this in detail in the coming meetings.) Yes, this is what Bible prophecy is about as well, God revealing His precision from His Word to the bride so she is not in darkness.

I don’t know everything, I’m constantly learning more from God’s Word. However, I have foundational precepts upon which to build understanding that are clear from God’s Word. These help to know what is from scripture and what are vain imaginations. I am always looking for correction from scripture, so don’t hesitate to correct with scripture.
Closing
- I just want everyone to be aware of what is really going on because the message isn’t common and yet is vitally important. I believe that shows in the ignorance of the church as a whole regarding the times in which we live. Many seem blind to events that are earth-changing and are fulfilling the scriptures regarding how the world continues planning for the future until the sudden destruction comes upon them. We are on the cusp of several changes that are going to rattle the church to alertness. It is my desire to see the bride of Christ shine in the darkness of the end as they stand solidly on the foundation of God’s Word as the world shakes around them. We will be Yeshua’s light and a place where those searching for Truth will be drawn to. Let us have an answer as to the hope that is within us and let us have an explanation for the events that are fulfilling God’s Word written thousands of years ago, yet is being fulfilled with 100% accuracy today. In this we glorify YAHWEH because He is worthy and His Word, Yeshua, who loved you so much He was willing to give His life for yours.
